Terrible service. Automated text servucr system is non-functional.
Cable internet constantly choking with one device only. Impossible to get help.
Use EPB instead.

I recently moved and selected Xfinity WiFi as an Internet service provider. Knowing what I know now, I would very strongly recommend using an alternative service. The tech support is a very tedious process. You first have to use their AI chat. Then if you're lucky you finally reach a "tech support person " who will restart your router and then point the finger at Microsoft or Google. My computer will connect to any non-Xfinity network wireless, but they still say it is a Microsoft problem. I had a Service tech come to my house. He could not get any of my three computers to connect wirelessly, even though my computers will all connect to non-Xfinity networks. I tried to call the store and got stuck in a continuous loop. Finally after multiple attempts I got to a support queue, 31-77 minute estimated wait time and they did call back and tried to blame the issue on the Google Nest. The Nest was not connected when the service tech was at the house. I believe Xfinity has a compatibility issue with any Windows version older than Windows 11 and older smartphones, even though the claim that there is no compatibility issues. After 2 months I still have issues and they cannot resolve them or even provide minimal support. If you still are considering using Xfinity make sure you ask them how to get tech support. The AI Assistant is very tedious and has not worked for me in the least. Be very cautious before using Xfinity. My recommendation is to only use them as a last resort as my experience has been unpleasant and expensive. As I have said before my issue still exists and they work harder to avoid solving the issues then they actually do trying to solve them.
Perfect that sent me a link that doesn't work. They sure know how to inspire confidence.

Never came to install Internet.
Sent me the box but never came to Hook it up. Poor business practice.

I had a wonderful experience this past week when I came in to exchange my TV box. It got fried during a recent thunderstorm. I want to thank the service techs who helped me with the exchange. They were friendly and efficient. The process took less than 10 minutes and I was on my way back home to install my new box. I applaud their commitment to helping customers.

I had the worst experience with Comcast/Xfinity. Comcast cables fell off a pole into my yard and into the road. It took 4 phone calls and eventually a trip to the store in person to finally get someone to deal with the cables after 2 weeks of waiting. Their phone system for customer service is horrible. EPB is so much better.

Sale person not helpful at all with knowledge of the equipment and it's always a hassle to get to talk to a living person in tech support.
