I'm getting really tired of bringing loads in that go to east dock. The 3rd shift group are lazy, screw around, play and dance to music, get on their phones and I've even seen them sleeping. If you are on break fine then go to the break room. It's very unprofessional. We have lives to, especially the ones that are local drivers. You slack off and we pay the price. It's disrespectful. I want to go home too and don't want to wait on lazy people to unload me because they don't really want to work. Hire better people!

Had an interview. Received an email, (not even 24hr passed) I'm not the type of worker they're looking for. Based on the reviews, I see why I was turned down. I have strong moral skills as well as good work ethics. Not to mention was happy to be part of the team. Thank you all for closing the door. One thing I hope to never here or see is that you all need more good workers. Please don't worry, I will never apply again. You all need to start treating the drivers like they also have a job to do, just like you all. Have an awesome production and profitable business. Best Regards

Overall Volkswagen (VW) is not a great company to work with long-term. Management has several priority issues and you will be expected to have Microsoft Teams meetings everyday. It's quite absurd to be expected to join a Microsoft Teams meeting at the last minute every time. Some meetings last for 1-3 hours, while others can last up to 6 hours. You will be expected to figure things out and navigate on your own even as a new hire. There is no orientation, and your manager will say they are available to accept your calls and texts, but you will find out soon enough that is not true. If you even respectfully and professionally question how VW operates, you will be fired without notice. Very unprofessional, counter productive, and just ridiculous. VW does not care about their employees at all, which is why I decided to leave this company to pursue better opportunities that are more aligned with courtesy, respect, professionalism, and possess great core values that are positive experiences for customers, employees, and suppliers.

Worst ever experience in my life of delivering and picking a load here in this facility. My appointment time was 5:45 pm on Thursday and I came here by 5:00 pm and they did not allow me to check in as I was early from my appointment time. Thereafter again I checked in by 5:30 pm, now these guys took 20 minutes to checkin after checkin they told me to sit in the truck and they don’t have the dock right now. I got a dock 7:00 am on Friday morning just more than 14 hrs but still it’s of no use, as I am still waiting on the dock to be get unloaded and it’s 11:45 am now. I visited inside many times so that they should unload me fast but of no use every time they are saying we don’t know when to unload you. So guys if you want to come here just bring enough food and sit tight.

Volkswagen is one of the biggest manufacturing plants in Chattanooga and one of the world’s finest automobile makers. VW offers great career opportunities with good pay. The public will also be happy to learn there is no goose-stepping or saur kraut sandwiches, but the Germans are still..well..German.

Please encourage your employees to tip food delivery people. It really reflects badly on your company when any person in the food service industry Despises coming to your facility because your employees expect them to work for nothing

Had a delivery appointment at 2200 on a Thursday night. Arrived at 2030 and was told I couldn’t be checked in until 2200. It is now 7 am Friday morning and was told that they had no idea when I would get a dock to be unloaded. It took 20 minutes to check in last night with 3 others ahead of me. This morning it took several more minutes to check on my status as one employee was on the phone trying to locate a trailer and the other lady sat at her computer and kept looking at the lady on the phone like are you going to help him because it would be inconvenient for me to. I have been here before and it usually takes 2 to 3 hours after arrival to get a dock and unloaded,

Wow! That's all I can say! This must be the most miserable place to work in the world. Every employee I've encountered has a horrible attitude and genuinely the rudest of anyplace I've ever had a load. Drivers of you have the option, skip this load. It's not worth being treated like filth as they do here.

Upon reaching out to me on Facebook and offering rehire, I decided to decline alternative opportunities in Knoxville and return to VW; After driving down from Knoxville and booking a hotel for the night, the recruiting team interviewed me the next morning only to decline my rehire eligibility, Waste of time; gas, and potential superior job offers elsewhere. DO NOT WORK HERE, they will mislead; manipulate, and tell you everything you want to hear just to get you in the door.Approximately 80% of the individuals on my line with at least 5 years of service have had a minimum of 1 carpal tunnel or rotator cuff surgery, and the company will seek whatever excuse they can find to avoid the liability. If you apply here, be careful what you list as “personal hobbies,” they will use this information as evidence to escape any potential injury liabilities and workman’s compensation.

This place sucks. The check in office people are very rude. If you arrive on time they will have you wait in the parking lot for hours and hours. If you accept a load going here make sure to tell the broker you want $150 an hour for detention pay or you wont do it. You will lose money and your next load if you deliver here. They do not have restrooms for drivers so make sure you have TP and some bags unless you can make it 12 hours without a toilet.
