“We just started care for our pets at Shallowford Animal Hospital with a few appointments completed and a few more scheduled for the future and so far our experience has been awesome! The office waiting rooms as well as patient rooms are clean and comfortable. Their prices are very affordable compared to other vets in the area! And every vet tech, doctor and other employee we have met has been welcoming, communicative and caring! We will definitely be sticking with Shallowford Animal Hospital and highly recommend them!”

907 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga“After watching their years of faithful care for our beloved 15 year old dog, I can't say enough good about the staff at ATAH. When it became clear that the most loving thing to do for her was to put her down, they walked through that process with us so compassionately. Their care and compassion are gifts that they offer to their pet patients as well as us, their families. We are grateful.”
“Cannot say enough good things about Riverview!! My cat Klaus needed emergency surgery, and they did their very best to fit him in. I am so appreciative of the level of service and professionalism I received. I recommend this place to anyone needing vet services.”
“We have been to several vets and this one takes the cake! The staff and overall environment is awesome. Very chill and relaxed compared to other vets. Doctor John and dr K are amazing along with their entire staff.”

“There is no one in Chattanooga that I would trust more with the care of my pets than the staff at Animal Clinic Downtown. They're friendly, caring, and really make sure you understand the different treatment options available to you. I'd give more than 5 stars if I could!”
“Dr Smith and staff are so knowledgable, smart, and resourceful with the heart of a teacher, educated me on how to help my old, suffering dog. He is a new dog after just a month of a new diet that he loves, and supplements and a couple short-term medications. So happy to have found this place!!”
“This has become our new vet. We are new to the Chattanooga area and tried several vets before choosing this one.
We had three dogs and recently had to put down our two older babies. Middle Valley was so sweet and even sent us a handwritten card for our loss.
Something I really appreciate here is the honesty. They will not have you continue to bleed money on things that aren't going to help your fur baby. They are in it for your fur babies' best interests and not making money. I truly appreciate that.
I highly recommend them.”

116 Lee Pkwy Dr, Chattanooga“We have 3 cats and 2 dogs. One of our cats became very sick and we ultimately decided after Dr Leonard said she had cancer in multiple places to put her down. I'm so glad this is the vets that we have chosen to take care of our animals. They are all amazing people.”
“Been taking my pets to Dr. Stanley for years, but her treatment of our sweet pitbull, Nimbus, when he needed bladder surgery, and working with us on the bill, was absolutely exceptional. The staff is always very compassionate and knowledgeable. You can tell they truly love their work here. Will never take my furbabies anywhere else.”

1414 Gunbarrel Rd, Chattanooga“Very kind and patient explaining the diagnostic tests and price of each and worked with me to arrive at a treatment plan that worked for my pet. The reception area was very clean and smelled fresh and the staff was very friendly and polite. Pleasant and assuring towards me and my pet!
Thank you for that!
I appreciate the amazing care that Daisy has received from Dr. Brady and the team! I'am very confident that you all are the only reason that she is doing so well. I can never thank you enough for the extra time y'all spent with my sweet baby!!!”
“Things they do for you and your pet: - explain the treatment, risks/benefits, and costs in a clear manner. - follow-up calls after sick visits. - kindness in words and actions. I also appreciate their precautions taken during the covid-19 pandemic. They adapted their office flow to minimize risks but still allow for safe interactions.”
“Kristen, Haley, and Dr. Murphy are all absolutely amazing with my dogs! They are up front about all costs and Dr. Murphy personally checks up on us whenever one of my dogs are having issues. I will always recommend LVPH!”

He is more relaxed with her than he has ever been with any other vet and having no dogs around certainly helps. When he got injured (while we were out of town) she went out of her way to work with our cat-sitters and got him on the road to recovery very quickly. We would highly recommend Cat Clinic of Chattanooga for every cat lover out there!!!”

Dr. Brunagan and the staff were wonderful. They gave him fluids and nausea meds and he is already feeling better. He ate his dinner tonight and is getting back to himself. I cannot thank them enough for taking care of my baby❤️”

4416 Dayton Blvd, Chattanooga“The vet and vet tech were amazing. Very informative and knowledgeable. I would have given 5 stars, but $176 for one shot is insane. My pup needs the shot, so I have no choice but to get it. But $176 for one shot...!”
“Dr. Bailey is phenomenal. She was incredibly attentive and demonstrated great care for our dog. I have never been to a vet who was as thorough and compassionate. I would recommend Veterinary Care and Specialty Group to anyone who is looking for emergency care for their baby.”
“Everyone here is amazing. The staff is friendly. My cat was well taken care of during her surgery.
I appreciate the wellness plan, it saved me a good chunk of money for my cats surgery.”

2132 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga“This place was such a godsend to my family. On July 12, we took our German Shepherd to Animal Emergency and Specialty on Lee Highway, where they misdiagnosed his lethargy as dehydration. After spending $900 on an X-ray, fluids, and meds, they sent us on our way, claiming he was fine. For three weeks, my dog suffered! On Thursday, I called VCA River and described his symptoms and what the other vet had said. They told me to bring him in immediately. They found that he had a huge mass in his abdomen that had erupted and was leaking into his belly, something the other vet had missed. We were preparing for a $13,000 surgery, but the vet explained that, due to his age and weakened state, his quality of life would be significantly reduced and he might only live another year. We made the difficult decision to let him go peacefully and end his suffering. While my dog is no longer in pain, I want to publicly thank VCA River for their help and compassion.
Conversely, the experience with Animal Emergency and Specialty on Lee Highway was appalling. When I called them to get the X-rays, I could see the mass myself with no veterinary training! Despite telling them we had to put our dog down, they showed no empathy. I can’t bring my baby back but I will honor his life by advocating for who helped and who didn’t! Please please please take your baby to this place VCA RIVER has to be the only option if you love your baby like we do! With everything they did including his cremation and processing his remains back to us it was $400 that included the same X-ray the other place did improperly and the processing of our babies body with dignity. Animal Emergency and Specialty charge us $905 and my baby suffered for two week. Please please please TAKE YOUR LOVE ONE TO VCA RIVER”
“Everyone here are very friendly. I bring Shadow 2-3 times a week for over a year now. They are like family to us. Very affectionate to Shadow and accommodating to our needs. I recommend them to all pet owners.”
