Very good with my dog's! I have one that is very nervous but the groomer had her in her arms when I went to pick Boo up, she did not know I would be there early, the groomer was soothing her! I believe they honestly care about our fur babies!

you have someone working there named chan and she is easily one of the sweetest girl i've ever met. i've got a whites tree frog and come in once every week and she always makes conversation when we get there. don't really know what else to say but just give her a raise.

Customer service!!I was waiting to checking out and the lady in front of me had a large bag of dog food and the cashier was rude to her because she could not put it in the counter. The cashier grabbed the bag tearing a hole in it and mubbled under her breath. She then went to get some tape and when the lady ask her to get her another bag she started mubbleing under her breath and being very rude. This girl does not need to be running a registe. My only reason for this review is the prices. I've always shopped at Petco until today. I just had no idea how less expensive Petsmart is for the same products. I am changing pet stores!!!! goodbye Petco ! Hello Pet Smart.

Won't go anywhere else. My Nelson is a handful and they were wonderful with him. We got the basic wash, but the kennel dried him, since he is scared of the blow drier still. Going once every three weeks now.

I wished I could do less than a one star review I had made an appointment 6 weeks in advance for a full spa day and groom for my golden doodle Ruger and when I showed up they told me they canceled my appointment because it was an online appointment. They said I didn't confirm it but you have to put your phone number in the app to even make the appointment and then you confirm it through a text message. The sad part is they never even called me about anything to tell me they canceled my appointment until I showed up. This is very unprofessional and a waist of my time and the sad thing they didn't even show any kind of condolence or even say sorry. I would not recommend them to anyone. Go see Danelle at pets smarts I told her what happened and she was so kind enough thats she made it possible to squeeze him in for me

Customer service was awful. Not sure who I talked to but she was an older lady with a gray streak. Muttered "Jesus Christ" under her breathe multiple times while checking me out. Very frustrating and rude.

My husband Bobby and I took our 4yr old Golden Doodle Maximus to get a Spa Day (shampoo, teeth brushed, shaved, the works). Victoria did a fabulous job and our sweet fur baby loves her. Thank you very much. Thanks to the entire staff for making the experience a pleasure. We will be back

Drove 1 hour to this petco to be told by Jerry no I cant take your dog ...I'm visiting from california and always go to petco for 7 yrs to get my dog groomed never any problems the only thing I say is please don't put dog down on floor leave him in the kennel he gets scared when he on the floor in corner and someone wants to pick him up i even pay for the vip service so this can be done the all the other petcos never have a problem and say sure no problem this guy Jerry was like uhhh yeah nahh not gonna do it go to a vet for that like wow so disappointing petco in Tennessee

I had grooming appointment for 5 days for my 1 year old AussieDoodle. They called me 4pm the day before and asked if I could switch my appointment time to an earlier time, BUT if not it's totally okay and the later appointment will still be there. I assumed that they had someone cancel and just trying to leave for an early day. As I didn't have time to call back I assumed my appointment was still in effect since the voicemail said it was. I get to my appointment time that I've had for days, and the groomer said that they cannot serve me because my dog is too "large" and "long haired" and he would need more time. My dogs information is in the system as we just got her hair done there 3 months prior. This was absolutely terrible service by Jerry the groomer, and unprofessional to say the least. Very disappointed.

Generally I have been happy with this Petco, however more recently they can't seem to keep crickets in stock which is hugely problematic if you have animals that rely on daily feedings. They get their shipments of crickets on Tuesday and Friday so I came today knowing they just received a shipment and asked for 70 small crickets. I was told they had to cap me at 50 otherwise they wouldn't be able to feed their own animals. This seems ridiculous to me on the day they just received more crickets. They need to figure out how to place orders correctly. I suppose I will be transferring my business to the Petco in Hixson even though that is way out of my way.

I love petco. But this location has never risen up to any expectations I have. The petco in Hixson has much friendlier staff. Every time I have been here I have been approached by a rude staff member. I will continue to shop at petsmart or the petco Hixson location. Today for instance, I was looking at the fish because I was considering getting a new one for my tank. I was then shouted at to not touch the glass, which I was not, because I was exposing myself. What am I exposing myself to? Are you inferring that you have COVID-19? I understand the new policies from the company, but there are much friendlier ways to go about than shouting at a young lady to not touch the glass. I'm not ignorant. I've given this location multiple opportunities only to be let down time and time again. Maybe hire some younger staff, because the older individuals you have working are sour and have no empathy whatsoever.
