I highly recommend kelsi with Valor k9 training. My 1 yr golden doodle is much better behaved after 3 weeks training. Learning the skills from Kelsi will always be valuable…. The training has given me confidence & is allowing me to keep her in our home.

We've had an amazing experience with Kelsi and Valor K9. We sent our golden retriever pup for the puppy head start program when he was just 10 weeks old, we were hesitant at first due to his age but it's set an amazing foundation for him, both training and socialization. We are planning to send him back for another board and train in the coming months to further his learning and progress. Kelsi is extremely knowledgeable, great to work with and has been an incredible resource as we continue training and growing with our pup.

Our German Shepherd Female puppy was with Kelsi for two weeks and came back a different dog. I know that sounds weird, but it is true in all of the best possible ways. She being 5 months old now, doesn’t chew on us or our things. She now is very obedient especially indoors. I should mention we are 1 week post training. She sits and stays(implied) will lay and stay (implied) you can walk into the other room and she will still be waiting on you. She goes to her crate when told and lays on her place bed when told. I didn’t really know what to expect when she came home, but our lives are much easier now. We can trust her more in the home and we have productive ways to interact with our puppy. She is just all around a better temperament puppy now. I would recommend them to anyone who is tired of their dog chewing, biting, and for someone who isn’t really sure how to interact with their dog.

Raising a working puppy and going from one to two dogs feels like an extreme sport at times and I'm so glad I've had Kelsi there for me every step of the way. Every lesson has been tailored to what I want to learn, and the cherry on top is how Kelsi types up my lesson plans and goals every time we have a session so I can refer back to it later. Kelsi gives me valuable feedback and actionable ways I can improve my handling and relationship with my dogs. Never having done virtual dog training, I was unsure what to expect and was blown away. 5 stars for Kelsi!

Kelsi is amazing! So thankful to have found a reputable, kind and knowledgable trainer to watch over my dog when we're out of town. The option to add on training sessions is great and she shared tons of photos so we didn't have to miss him or worry too much. We knew he was in great hands!

Valor K9 and Kelsie have been the best team to work with as we train Piper to be my service dog. Communication, positive instruction, and a genuine passion for training both the dog and the handler helped us learn quickly. Kelsie has always been willing to adapt our training sessions to specific areas of need as Piper has encountered new experiences in our daily activities. We look forward to continuing our training with Valor K9 as our skills are perfected and we develop our tasking abilities. Thank you to this incredible team and especially Kelsie for taking this journey with us.~ Becky & Piper Jackson

Where to even begin? Kelsi with Valor K9 was such a wonderful trainer for us. I really appreciated their patient, kind, yet firm approach to training - our rambunctious puppy took to their approach immediately, and we felt great about how much we were able to use positive reinforcement to encourage good behavior and teach new skills!Kelsi was always responsive when we had questions in between sessions, and she was so helpful and encouraging to us despite our clear newness to being dog parents :) I can’t recommend their services enough! You’re in great hands with these folks.

I've always been a cat person and not so much a dog person; HOWEVER...My experience with Kelsi has been nothing short of amazing. We adopted a rescue dog and 5 days later this sweet, loving 3 year-old German Shepherd mix bolted after a squirrel. I released the leash but had already started to fall. I broke my arm in 5 places. Many people suggested that we return or re-home her. We were unwilling to do either.A neighbor suggested Valor K9 Academy - Chattanooga. I contacted Kelsi and it was the best decision we could have made. The initial consultation assured us that Scout was not a lost cause, but lacked training. We were given hope and a solution.26 years prior to this we had obedience training with our lab puppy. My memories were of extremely physical "man handling" of the dog. When we talked to Kelsi I explained that I was in physical therapy and not sure I could handle obedience training.THEN EVERYTHING CHANGED.Kelsi explained how dog training has improved. We saw immediate progress during the first lesson. Each class included clear instructions, demonstration by Kelsi, practice and guidance with Kelsi observing, and homework assignments. Videos reinforced techniques. In 6 weeks we have gained a solid foundation for manners, obedience, and confidence. I am confident walking Scout and interacting with the people and dogs we meet along the way. With the training method used by Kelsi at Valor K9 Academy - Chattanooga, I don't have to rely on brute strength to keep Scout under control. She's not a robot, she's a well-mannered, well-behaved canine friend.And...I am a dog person.

Valor K9 Academy is great!! We’ve worked with Kelsi over several weeks and when I say she is absolutely the best, I mean every word. She’s very professional, knowledgeable, patient and overall the sweetest! Titan loves her, I wouldn’t trust our puppy kid with anyone else! Thank you Valor K9 Academy and super thank you to Kelsi! The best dog training in Chattanooga.

Our golden girl puppies had ten lessons with Brenley Merritt and they are so well behaved now! Brenley was flexible with our schedules and patient with both pups and parents. She consistently checked in with us on our progress at home and always made a board for us of what we’ve done and what we need to be working on; which I absolutely loved and still use! She showed us the strengths and weaknesses of each pup and really helped us to get them both on the same level while appreciating their individual personalities. Travis and I LOVED this experience and learned so much! We cannot say enough good things about Brenley and Valor K9 Academy and we will be recommending them to absolutely everyone with a dog!

We had a great Private Lessons experience with Valor K9. Remy, our shepherd mix puppy is a big, high energy dog. Kelsi was his trainer and he responded very well to her training and instruction. We had absolute trust in Kelsi and I would highly recommend her to everyone. We also used Valor for Stay and Play service when we went on vacation. Brenley watched Remy for us. Remy had so much fun playing with Brenley and her other dogs. It was a great experience for him. We will definitely use Valor K9 again.

Our cavapoo spent two weeks with trainer Brenley, who couldn’t have been more amazing. She really gets to know each dog like it’s her own and gave us invaluable insights about our dog’s personality and motivations. Not only did she do a fantastic job training our puppy but she also made it so easy for us to continue to reinforce the training at home. We’re so thankful for her expertise, professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond to make training our puppy such a positive experience.

My 6mo old husky spend 3 weeks with Kelsi at Valor. She went beyond my expectations, despite dealing with "husky" attitude, and a stubborn set in his ways pup. When he came home, he was a new puppy. The improvements I saw were immediate. Our time spent transferring Loki back over to me and preparing him for being back home went great. I told Kelsi my main concerns/goals. She put her focus on these and Loki came a long way. I was and am highly impressed with the time and efforts she put into LOKI. For anyone debating this program for their puppy I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Invest in your puppy, you won't regret it!

Our Brittney Wishbone started with Valor when she was a puppy with the head start program. They are very good with training and she has done great since she came home. Since then she does Stay N Play with Brenley and loves it! Brenley is very good with her and brushes up on her training when we need it. When we pick her up she is always ready to chill from playing with all the other pups! We always like leaving her with Brenley when we go on vacation!
