Nice post office lady caught the wrong zipcode on the address I'd been given to send all important identification mail to, reason why i hadn't received social security card & other identification papers yet..... Post office lady (Stephanie) deserves a big bonus & huge raise.

This is the worst post office I’ve ever been to. I tried to stop by on lunch to mail a quick package. I do it all the time at the one in Rossville. I just ended up leaving. The worker was slamming packages around and clearly in no hurry to help anyone. This place needs to be bulldozed. What’s the point in having it if you can’t use the service it provides?

I've lived in proximity to this specific office for almost 3 years now. Since moving to this service area I get the wrong mail delivered and my mail gets lost/misdelivered quite regularly. I've had money stolen from birthday cards and it was never addressed even though I filled a complaint.
I can't trust them to do their job at all and have to watch package tracking updates closely so I can follow up and do their job for them and try to fix the frequent mistakes.
The only semi redeeming quality is the polite office staff and post master that make an effort to correct the delivery mistakes as soon as they can. I have no idea what to do besides move or avoid USPS entirely but sometimes it's the only option when shopping online.
Very disappointed, especially compared to our previous service area where I had zero issues over 6 years vs ~8 issues in less than 3 years here

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. INCOMPETENCE! Mail/packages delivered throughout the neighborhood. Uneducated people not properly trained getting hired by other uneducated people ?. They legit didn't know what the red flag on the mailbox was for! This office needs to scrap the entire staff and start over. They help represent the uneducated ignorance that surrounds Chattanooga.

The mail person threw our packages over our neighbors fence and into their yard, away from their front porch. Have often observed the mail carriers on our porch cameras tossing or dead dropping our packages. We're seriously concerned as to why they are continuously doing this.

I actually lost money going to this post office. Woman with braids working was on the phone and was rude. She treated me like I was d*** instead of helping me place my order correctly. I figured out the next day that she didn't point out to me that I was overpaying for shipping. Thanks for that.

Post Office located at 511 S Hawthorne St, Chattanooga, TN 37404 is HORRIBLE!!! If you ever need to talk to a manager or supervisor, sorry for you because it is never going to happen. THE SUPERVISOR AND MANAGER ARE RACIST! The carriers are nice and friendly, but the SUPERVISOR AND MANAGER ARE A JOKE. I am a business owner and I had a question about a package (I was not upset or anything because I only had a question) I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor one day and was told their names, but was told that the supervisor said he's about to leave and not talking to nobody and the manager said he don't feel like it. So I went back the next day to talk to a manager and him and the supervisor came out and the supervisor, before I could even say anything, he said "dont start acting loud and ghetto". The manager just stood there looking stupid and shrugged. WHY WOULD THEY ASSUME THAT I WAS GHETTO? BECAUSE OF MY SKIN COLOR?!!!! COMPLETE RACISM!!! The only question I had about my package was if I had something sent to the post office how long would they hold it, but I never had a chance to ask my question because after their ignorance I left. This post office needs a new manager and supervisor. Racist P.O.S
