The location of this post office is great. It’s right in the center of downtown Chattanooga. However, the parking is horrendous and not worth the trip. it is much easier to go right over the bridge to Northshore where there’s plenty of parking.

Had a S.A.S.E (self addressed stamped envelope), priority first class letter get sent to the 'dead mail' bin. If that ever happens to you, here is what you do:
1. Whatever you were waiting on, start over, just do not use USPS
2. Accept the fact that your piece of mail is gone forever, even with your tracking number and paying way too much for a letter, doesn't matter - USPS cannot track it anymore. Completely crazy.
What is crazier is they said it couldn't be delivered due to insufficient address, but would be returned to the sender. This is the crazy part - I had to explain to 3 postal workers what an S.A.S.E is. O.M.G. Insane.
If you have something important to send to someone, never use USPS. Send it by FedEx, ups, courier, pay some drunk off the street to hand deliver it, get a bike and ride it there yourself. I mean there are so many other methods that are more reliable than the USPS. This is why USPS loses money every year (they reported a loss of $6.5 billion in 2023), because they have useless tracking numbers that literally will not track a letter in their system. This was our last shot using them. #neveragain.
If i could have rated is -6.5 billion starts to align with their 2023 losses, I would have.

Ms. Jane is one of the most helpful and kind USPS representatives I have interacted with. She is happy to answer any questions and assist as much as possible. Her presence at this post office brightens the mood tremendously!

One of the worst service in USA , they lost my all original docs was send with cert mail , still have a hard time to find them and their insurance not covering anything

All of USPS seems to be dying a slow and unpleasant death which is a huge shame. I want a solid USPS to support but I'm forced to either contribute to a bad and failing business that loses/steals/misdelivers my stuff regularly or stop supporting them for my sanity. Nobody else messes up shipping quite like USPS has over the years. Birthday money stolen from a card with evidence and they did nothing to help at all. Packages delivered to the wrong street number or name about 7 times now!
The staff I've interacted with in person have been wonderful and always helpful I feel bad that they probably bear the brunt of frustrations from customers.

Went during my lunch break and mailed 3 packages in under 10min. Jane was very polite, friendly, and efficient. One of the best USPS experiences I've had.

Terrible and slow service here consistently. Never enough staff at the windows, they don't seem to cater for busier hours. I strongly recommend using the Post Office in Northshore instead.

Package is lost in your warehouse and no one can even pick up the phone for me to ask about it. My orders are of business supplies and now I’m losing money each day my package is delayed.

Can you explain, why an important piece of mail from the office of Registrar of Wills from out of state in Maryland is lost but you have no problem delivering junk mail.My bad, it must be because you are promptly answering incoming calls.You deserve NEGATIVE stars
