Ok so first of all I know that people make mistakes. There is a new employee who screwed up my reservations 3 times and cost me a lot of money! But I want to brag on Miranda and the assistant manager Anthony who was sooo nice they went above and beyond to fix what had been done they were great! I'm grateful for them! Ask for Miranda if you have to use this location!

Rented a storage unit from this location but I have previously rented truck and van. Got great customer service and very clean storage unit . Will use again !

Stealing money from honest hard working folks and purposly misinforming people,about 200 dollars on hold when you want to borrow a 19 dollar truck .Manager is rude and lied to several of my family about cost will never use Uhaul as long as that guy remains there videos will be posted of them lying to people over 72 times in just 1 hour

I have dealt with this location on several occasions. Each time the guys could not do enough for me. I spent years in the service industry and expect good service from those people I deal with and these guys did not disappoint at all purely.

OMG, could this take any longer? I had an appointment to get a trailer hitch installed. I told them from the beginning that I would be waiting for my car. They didn't even begin the process until an hour and 50 minutes after my appointment time. They indicated that it would take an hour to 1 1/2 hours to install. TWO HOURS later, I'm still waiting. The installer just walked through the showroom and I asked if my car is ready. NOPE, they pulled her off to do something else.

Let me go ahead and throw my 1 star in the mix. I need a zero star immediately google. It's not fair to give away stars just because. I had the absolute worst experience with this location. I made a reservation a week prior so that I would not run into any issues leading up to the date I needed my equipment. I modified the date slightly as my son's college moving date was moved out providing us more time. I was contacted the morning of pickup to inform me that my cargo van had not been returned by the previous renter and that they were going to go look for it. Offered a box truck but I didn't say I wanted it. I was told that they would give me a call back. We were prepared to feed a horse (cargo van) not an elephant (16ft box truck). They offered it at the same price, but who is going to pay for the gas it's about to guzzle? Not an even trade. 5 oclock rolls around (an hour and a half before pickup) no returned call. I call them. Samuel answers I tell them who I am and I am immediately placed on hold with no warning. Thought it was a fluck. Called back and gave them my name and again sent straight to hold music. Call back again. Sent straight to hold music. Now I am considering this a professional way of hanging up on me. Called the 1 800 number. Got Irish, she couldn't help me. Sends me to customer service which is who I thought I was talking to. I get Becky! Why God! Why Becky! I explain that I need a resolution for my issue immediately. She ask me for my number and proceeds to tell me I have a reservation for 630pm. No ish Sherlock! I explained my ordeal. Her suggestion was to go to the location and SEE if they have the equipment. Again are you putting gas in my car? So you want me to make an unnecessary trip out to this location that is placing me on hold no warning purposely and not returning the call they said they'd make to see if they have the equipment. Becky are you logical at all. No help from Becky. Becky made excuse after excuse. Becky's elevator is out of order on the first floor. I was livid. Uhaul is not a good recommendation. My family and friends will absolutely know how despicable this company is. Their services is as trash as their outdated building and equipment. Penske is the way. No comparison.

This was the worst experience. I had three UBox containers, paid over $2,500 already, and they could even have my first box ready for me to pick up. They could deliver them to me so I decided to pick them up one each day (Friday,Saturday and Sunday). Friday I had to wait 45 minutes because they claim I didn’t pay my bill eAlert. I had to call the Customer Service number which it took 25 minutes just to talk to someone. They had my billing messed up, and them one fixed, I couldn’t get someone to help me get my UBox. One worker just looked at me, put up the one finger sign, and walked off. Once I got the container, I had reservation to pick another one up the next day at 12. To keep it short, I didn’t get my box until 2:30 PM and people seemed to be personally not helping me. The one older African American gentleman was trying his best to help but eventually called the GM to come to the store to help. I was so upset but had to keep my professional patience. This place is awful and needs a “cleaning house” party for the service they provide!

They blatantly overcharged on fuel. They claimed I used 6.6 gallons of fuel for a total of 22 miles of driving. Half of those miles the truck was empty. I called the location and was absolutely shut down and dismissed. I called the 1-800 number and the customer service rep agreed I was obviously overcharged, and refunded me $10 of the fuel charge immediately (probably not the full overcharge, but good enough). So kudos to that customer service team, but I'll be looking at other U-Haul locations in the future, or maybe Penske.

I honestly wish I could give 0 stars. I guess I should have assumed something would go wrong when you hear the attendant radio in to tell the manager to keep a copy of the receipt for when I call back. So now thanks to the people at this store, I get to drive a uhaul 12 hours with NO MIRROR because it decides to fly off a little over an hour into our trip. And it wouldn’t be a big deal if their roadside assistance was any help but they are just as useless as the people at this uhaul location. I will never use uhaul again and now unfortunately we will need to find a different storage facility as well since it seems that majority of people that work for uhaul are incompetent. And I hope he does have a copy of my receipt for when I call the better business bureau so they can know how this place chooses to do business. Who knows it may be different if you’re a male but females stay away because I guarantee they will attempt to take advantage of you. Next time I will be sure to use a different company that actually respects their female customers.

It's annoying to try to find out that U-Haul took more out of your bank account then what we talked about. Then I call the location and a smart-ass employee needs to keep his opinion to himself I only call three times. every single time I was put on hold up to 20 minutes. It would have to a minute to answer my question so the store manager needs to address how their employees answer phones. It's not acceptable The constantly keep saying please hold without saying I have a customer or could you call back. From a formal store manager it's not acceptable the store needs to do better. Finally got some one to explain why that happened then when I said it would have been better to tell me call back later another employee hung up on me after helping me so this location lacks customer service after today I will not use this location again.

Reserved a cargo van online with my card and then got to the location. Walked in and the two "workers" behind the counter acted like I interrupted their conversation and were annoyed. Begrudgingly asked me for my info and I handed it over.Was told I could not rent with a debit card. I asked if there was anyway to correct/go around and rent something with a debit card but was told no. I was super confused, because I've used a debit card for my 2019 and 2021 needs. Reached out to Uhaul support and after 30 minutes was told I can use a debit card for box trucks, but it HAS to be a credit card for Vans/pickup trucks. I know it's in the fine print of my confirmation email (at the very bottom), but I didn't know the specifics and the Hixson location has now cost me a day AND another $600 for rescheduling with other people/new rental because instead of telling me what I COULD use, just told me I "couldnt"First time using this location, and my absolute LAST. I hope this locations attitude and verbage isn't the new UHaul norm, or I'll never be a customer again. Complete lack of professionalism and decorum from the second I walked in.Absolutely absurd.

I recently had an appointment with U-Haul Moving & Storage at Hixson to have a Pike ball hitch installed on my vehicle. Unfortunately, they had to reschedule my appointment from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM due to a double booking. Upon arrival, we were informed that the service would take two hours to complete. However, after waiting two hours, I was disappointed that the work had not even started on my vehicle. The company then took an additional one and a half hours to complete the requested service.This was unacceptable, especially considering we traveled out of state to have this service performed today and paid $378.28 in advance to secure our spot and parts. The company did offer a 20% refund in an attempt to rectify their lack of communication and planning.Overall, I would not recommend U-Haul Moving & Storage at Hixson Pike. Their lack of time management showcases the lack of respect for others time and money, especially when we traveled out of state to have a service done on an agreed timeframe. If you’re looking for reliable and efficient services, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Awful experience! I reserved an auto transport trailer and they called me last minute to tell me they don’t have one. I called the number they gave me (“traffic”, or whatever they call it) and there weren’t any available anywhere near me. The rep didn’t even care or try to offer a solution. Don’t depend on U-Haul for anything!
