The store had an awesome setup. However, I was here early and they sold me a sausage bisquet sandwich which I had to wait in. It was cold and they told me where the microwave was. 6 bucks for a sandwich I could have done at home.

This store always has friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable associates. It's worth monitoring their sales, because occasionally there's really good deals. I've also always been pleased with the quality of their prepared food.
However, for the last 6-7 years, the price point on individual groceries here are generally about 20% higher than comparable stores who carry the exact same brands. There are better options within several miles.
I highly recommend this store for the shopping experience which is why the 5 star review, but if you live on a budget like myself, there are several stores in a 2 mile radius where you won't sacrifice quality for cheaper prices.
Still keep an eye out for sales. They occasionally have terrific deals for fresh poultry or seafood.

I tried the pizza and it was dry with no flavor. The delivery person and other items were great and I love Fresh Market. I have been to Napoli, Italy and had pizza. This was not antwhere near the level of pizza they have in Italy!

the epicurean area is the focal point of the store, but why up-charge on run-of-the-mill items that still contain preservatives and harmful dyes? you could as easily purchase the same from trader joes across the street at half the cost. also almost all of the employees here look like they want to kill themselves.

Meh. It's so dark in the store that it's not a good experience. It is difficult to find things and read labels in the dark. I don't know why they do it. One might assume that they do it to hide the dirt. I just try to get in and out as quickly as possible. The only reason I go there is because it's so close to my house. They do carry upscale and organic brands. They do have a decent produce selection, though everything seems over priced.

Absolutely the best staff anywhere! I lost my wallet in the store and Kathy the manager went out of her way and brought it to my home. It doesn’t get any better than that!
The store I’m referring to is in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Seems like a high-end grocer, but our experience has been mixed. House-made items not recommended- spinach and chicken canelloni we brought home recently was absolutely terrible. Staff is friendly and helpful, most of the time.

This place is amazing. This is what a grocery store should be. Such a great sense of nostalgia with a logical and modern flair.This place makes other grocery stores look like lawn clippings.

I visited Fresh Market in Chattanooga; for a merchandiser assignment! I purchase their hot food bar! I found the foods; over-salted; and way over-priced!I was told;(by the associate)that my plate would be: $9.00; but; was charged $9.99!Next time! I will have my selections weighed!I did not purchase a drink; because I drank three cups of the free freshly squeezed juice; they offered; in the produce section!Please stop over-salting your foods! You can use low-salt bacon; and herbs; to enhance the flavors!
