The place probably hasn't seen any renovation for a long time, there's a strange gray smell throughout the hotel (it's hard to tell), there's no place to sit on the patio, two tables, torn sofas, a cat wandering around and crawling on everyone's feet. I definitely do not recommend this place unless for one or two nights

My work crew and I had 4 rooms here for 2 weeks, the place was clean and well kept, we regularly talked with dee mclendon and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Just got off the phone with the front desk. Am trying to get a receipt from June. The lady right away was confrontational. Wanted to argue with me. Was not helpful. Been a diamond with Holiday Inn for 27 years so…. They sent my receipt to a different person. They didn’t have my member # in the reservation. I won’t stay here again.
Update- Judy has now hung up on me twice and argued with me every time. She doesn’t know her job and has no customer service skills.

I absolutely love this place! This staybridge is by far better than other IHG hotels I have stayed! The prices are fair rate, location is near a variety of food, and the service by staff are beyond nice! They recognized if you’re staying longer than one day and they do small talks to you, The rooms are also one of my favorites because is very spacious and cleaned compared to regular Holiday inn at which I stay more often. The perks about this Hotel is that they have great breakfast and SOCIAL HOUR DINNER !!! If you have a long day and don’t feel Ike going out , this becomes very handy!!! I love this place and every time I have to work in Chattanooga I stay here! EVERYTIME!!

So my friend came in from out of town and I booked a room at this hotel because it’s near the mall and pretty much near everything and my friend has never been to Chattanooga
When I got to the hotel there was no one there to greet us until after another guest had walked in
When my friend and I were finally recognized the guy working second shift said his name was Mr Dee and he was the manager there well I’ll tell you if he is he’s very disrespectful to guests and everyone that walks in there
My friend was disappointed at how he treated everyone and every situation Mr Dee encountered someone needs to teach him manners if he is intact a manager
Very disappointed
But the room and everything was very good overall well worth the stay

The hotel and staff were great while we were here. The breakfast was nice in the morning. Plenty of choices but nothing amazing, just free breakfast.
The main problem was parking, specifically people parking all over the one lane in and out of the hotel. There was an issue on our last night with fire alarms going off due to a birthday party with a smoke/fog machine in one of the rooms but it was handled pretty quickly. Luckily, it wasn't too late at night when it happened.

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while. The staff was attentive and went way beyond to make sure that me and my family felt welcome. The room clean and breakfast was warm and plentiful.

Our family booked a stay at this hotel through a booking agency. We never received a confirmation code. We paid for a room again since we weren’t able to get a confirmation of our booking neither from the hotel or the booking agency (despite providing bank statements). We booked another room while waiting for that issue to be resolved. It’s been a month and have been given the run around by the hotel and the booking agency. We have not been able to contact the hotel or their customer service (suddenly their email and phone number doesn’t work) for the past 2 weeks. Our original payment has yet to be refunded. We’re in touch with the better business bureau!
As far as the stay, the friendliest staff were the kitchen staff and a maintenance man. I was excited to see Dove toiletries however they were obviously watered down. We originally booked a king size (pregnant and medical accommodation) and although the gentleman in front of us was offered a king and declined, somehow they were out of king beds when we were walked up to book the additional room. Won’t be returning.

BEWARE!!! I was verbally assaulted and treated poorly from the time I entered this establishment. Chad definitely speaks to guests like this because his manager John allows it. He called John from a speaker phone and John didn’t even check on his guests and ask for a moment to speak with me. I guess he was too lazy to do his job. Staybridge you need to investigate these two. While you are doing it. I am sending my video of Chad acting belligerent to the higher ups.
Chad, the front desk worker, was not at the front desk when I arrived. I waited for more than 5 minutes for someone to arrive . At that time, there were three white males, in the lobby. I then said hello a few times. I even said , hello again and if anyone was going to check me in? Chad came around the corner and said, “You don’t even have to say it like that”. I said, excuse me. He then went on to accuse me of “getting smart” with him. He repeatedly threatened me and said, I don’t have to check you in if I don’t want to check you in”. I proceeded to ask for the manager. He pointed his finger to the cards m . I said, I would like to speak to your manager. He said, “You can’t speak to him until the morning” I said I just need to speak your manager” He continued to verbally assault me to the point I called my fiancé inside. Chad, then said, you know what, I don’t have to let you in. He told me to get out. He then proceeded to into the office and call his manager. A few minutes later he came out with the phone in his hand. The manager, John, did not even ask me what happened. He immediately took Chad’s side and told me to leave. I told Chad I need my money in hand before I leave. He said you booked with the third party. I said I don’t care. I need my money. Chad said well I am going to call the police. I said please do. The police came and I file KD a report because Chad assaulted me verbally and I had to ensure I raised my voice in case he was going to do something physically to me. The white males in the lobby sat back and laughed and Chad smirked because he said his manager was definitely going to take his side.
If they run their video they will see the truth unless they destroy it. Luckily I began recording when Chad became aggressive. I will post this on all social media sites along with his pictures to PROVE he was the aggressor and lying.
It is sad day that in 2024, we are STILL dealing with racism. Unfortunately this hotel likes to employee people of this nature.
Apparently this hotel has roaches. READ PREVIOUS REVIEWS. I will be contacting the health department. I took screenshots for media purposes as well.

Chad, the front desk worker, was not at the front desk when we arrived. My fiancé waited for someone to come to the desk. I saw her waiting from the car. I assumed there were people in front of her being how long she was taking. I had no idea Chad was inside verbally assaulting her and becoming aggressive. She finally told me to come inside and I found out what was going on. I didn’t even raise my voice at Chad. By that time my fiancé was upset l, rightfully so and I was trying to figure out what was going on. Chad refused to give us a receipt. He even refuse to send us to another location because at this point I was uncomfortable staying at a hotel at this location with an unstable worker who was clearly not in the right position to be at the front desk.
I know for certain Chad is going to try to destroy the video or alter it. I told my fiancé to upload his behavior so people can publicly see what kind of people this hotel decides to hire.
It is a shame that Chad’s boss called the police immediately although HIS worker was the aggressor. In a climate such as this in 2024, I was concerned as a Black man because we all know our outcome when the police is called. It is ALWAYS our fault. Chad knew this and smirked.

I stopped in because my IHG app didn't work to let me book a room and they just happened to have 1 left. Mon-Wed they have a social hour for guests to have drinks and snacks in the front. Omg this is the best and everyone was so sweet. My only thing was when the room was cleaned they just didn't wipe the bathroom sink off from the cleaning products I am assuming and I found one hair on the shower wall. But I still have 5 stars cause y'all are so sweet and definitely are a good place to stay. I will be back for work and I'll make sure to come stay with y'all again.
