Brought in a stray cat with a huge wound on his neck. Their team was incredibly professional, emphatic, friendly, and it was a cost effective treatment. They cared as much for this cat as we did and I can’t thank them enough for being so kind to us. I have never had a vet clinic who was so friendly. The bill was not as bad as we expected either which we appreciate as we did bring a stray not our own. 100% would recommend them.

I have had to bring my pets here on 3 separate occasions when I couldn't rely on my regular vet to see us in a timely manner. And all of the times we've come here have been phenomenal! The staff is super caring and they go above and beyond to make sure you know all of your options for care for your pets. 10/10!

Worst experience ever. Natasha Jones is very unprofessional. I cannot fully express the disrespect we received from her. We were given the option for the vet to see our dog in the back or in the room with us. We were more comfortable with him being in the room with us. She did not even greet us with a hello. She stormed in the room saying “Is there a reason you don’t trust me with your dog.” The whole time she treated us like we were stupid & didn’t seem to care at all about him. She was continually rude and disrespectful the entire time we spoke with her. He was also not comfortable with her at all nor was I !!!!!!! The attitude from her was unreal. I cannot express enough how awful of an experience it was. The staff only seemed to care about the money. We sat in there for 2 hours for them to give us no information whatsoever. The lobby was empty when we were there. I will definitely never go here again.

Tried to get my older German shepherd in because she is pretty sick. Was hoping they would work out payment plan because not all of us are from lookout mountain and rich. Just paid my rent, was refused.

Did not have a good experience here.the front desk staff are great and the techs were great but these particular vets are cold hearted and money hungry.Everything is about getting the extra dollar.felt no compassion for what we were going through with our pet and did not like how they handled her. she was so stressed when we left there.next time i have an emergency i will go back to river where i used to go. this place was more convenient and that was a mistake.

This is the second time we had to take Mumford to VCSG. Once after he had complications after being neutered at a different vet, and recently when we discovered he had a very large tumor growing on his spleen. Two weeks ago Mumford had a splenectomy and we have been so worried he had cancer. Well praise God we just found out his tumor was benign! He is like a brand new pup and we are so grateful for everyone that helped him. VCSG provided excellent care both times we needed them and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Horrible! I took my dog there for an Echocardiogram. He was going into shock when he got there. They took him back behind their locked metal door for what I thought was treatment for shock, such as IV Fluids for stabilization. Once in a room, the only thing they were worried about was an estimate for hemangiosarcoma. Again, my dog was behind a locked metal door. I asked to see him and was told I needed to sign an estimate for treatment. Due to the type of cancer around his heart, the treatment was extremely painful, and the possibility of death was extremely high, I chose euthanasia. The technician left and came back telling me my dog was dying and we needed to hurry around the clinic to another room, literally running. Once in the euthanasia room, I was given a cremation folder to make a decision on urn. I advised that I was not interested in this, and I wanted to see my baby. They rolled him in on a cold metal table with no IV started, as no treatment for shock was ever attempted. My baby died behind their locked doors, where I could not see him, with strangers. This was a truly tragic experience. We tried this clinic again when my other dog had her eye injured badly. We sat in an exam room for an hour and a half. With only one technician letting us know they were extremely busy; however, the lobby was empty. While waiting, a man showed up with his dog hit by a car, and they locked the automatic doors so he could not come in. He stood at those doors holding his bleeding dog, yelling that he needed help. They told him they were too busy and he would have to wait. We left and took our dog to the emergency clinic on Lee Hwy, they were wonderful and treated my dog within 30 minutes. This place is like a prison, big metal doors that magnet lock once closed, very cold, heartless staff and doctors. I have never been back and plan on never returning.

BEST VET HOSPITAL! The front desk ladies were amazing, super professional and a great helping hand! shoutout to morgan ( i think that is her name ). She was the nicest ever and was very helpful throughout the whole process of my dog getting the help he needed. The vets was amazing as well. They would constantly keep me updated on what was going on and was very accommodating to my price range as well. Another great thing about them is that they have complementary drinks while you have to wait and several waiting rooms you can choose from to sit in. Overall 10/10 experience. I will always go here if my dog needs to go to the vet hospital.

Best of the best in Chattanooga and in my opinion around the country. I have a special place in my heart for Dr Reid Groman! He saved my English bully Denny. He was under a year and developed the strangest pneumonia. He was in the ICU for a week. When he got better they also performed his soft pallet and nares surgery. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this facility. Before I knew about them I used River once for my cat and it was awful! I will drive the extra 20 mins from my house to VCSG in a heartbeat!

Wonderful hospital. Full of caring trained people. Not cheap but with a huge staff of vets in multiple specialities, open 24/7 it couldn't be. Our 1 year old puppies Charlie had undergone 2 weeks of treatment at home town vets and they were at a loss. Fever and spiked white blood count with out any other symptoms. Local vet referred us and we spent several hours doing different levels of testing. All testing was done after approved estimate for specific service.Test panels are due next week but Charlie is back to normal. Don't know what's ahead but nice to know there is such a place with services and diagnostic capabilities equaling human services.Super place and people. Highly recommended. We drove 90 minutes each way to get there, worth every dollar spent and every hour invested.Thank you from Charlie and me.

VSCG was amazing in helping us with our 14 yr old baby Charlie. We were visiting town for the holidays and our dog Charlie had a horrible episode & was diagnosed with vestibular disease. Ashley was so caring & professional and was able to squeeze us in quickly. We saw Dr. Groman and he was GREAT! Caring, honest and really is there for the animals. We were scheduled for an MRI but Charlie started progressing & doing much better. Dr. Groman gave us his honest & expert opinion and we truly appreciated that he was treating Charlie as if he were his own dog. All of the staff here treats your pet as if they were their own and in my eyes you can't find better care than that. Even the reps that work at the front office, CARE. Thank you VCSG! I wish we had you all in South Florida. If you want the best, most professional & loving care for your furbaby.. look no further!

A good place if you’ve got a lot of money and don’t mind sitting in a waiting room for 6 hours. Seems like they could have done what they did for my cat the first time I brought her in and save me $1000 and a second visit. At least the staff is nice.
