Great customer service! Questioned the service costs and was looking for explanation; the service writer, Jeremy handle it with excellence.
Each of the two visits here have been excellent. You can count I'll continue to be a return customer.
Thank you,
Chris Roth

Terrible business. The owner is a piece of work who doesn’t care about his customers.
I work as an electrician. My family friends business did some work for S&S and did over $18,000 in work. But never got paid… almost 17 months later..
My family has been taking our cars to S&S for quite some time. They overcharge for parts and are the stereotypical mechanics that just lie about other things being broken to get more money.
When confronted that they are scamming their customers the owner started cursing me and my mother out when we simply asked why they wouldn’t pay our friends electrical company.
Don’t take your cars here.. it’ll save you a lot of money to find somewhere else

They can handle pretty much whatever you can throw at them. Doesnt matter where you are coming from throughout Chattanooga, and even Soddy Daisy, go here to get your car/truck fixed

Just had to pay an additional $2000 for car maintenance at another repair shop due to being scammed by Tony as this one. The other repair shop had shown me that Tony did none of the work that had been paid for. Please literally go anywhere else but here, and if do go here, do not let Tony touch your vehicle.

Get other estimates, Tony recommends a bunch of unneeded services and does not stand by his word, Bad prices might be worth it if they were as good as they claim on the website. Another sad scam shop

I am so glad my coworkers recommended this place to me. I took in my 2007 Ford Focus to get checked out, and they were able to break down what was most necessary to get looked at, and were able to price out what my options were.
Mario kept in contact throughout the process to let me know when any issues arose, like a part being out of stock, and they were up front about the price the whole time.
I got my car back and it runs even smoother than it did when I first got it! The team was fantastic and so friendly. I really appreciate them and their atmosphere they bring to stressful situations. I would definitely recommend them!

My service writer was Tony and he was very transparent and respectful of my time. They serviced my vehicle with OEM seals which is a huge plus and they have a online customer portal that you can use to see what’s going on with your vehicle where as most shops will eat up your time playing phone tag to give you the same info verbally.

This time I just got an oil change and had tires and fluids checked. The work was efficient and fairly quick. I was advised of some maintenance work that will be needed in the future.

It pains me to have to write this bad review. I started taking my 4Runner to S&S about 10 years ago for any major servicing or repair issues. They seemed to be reasonably priced and more importantly seemed to do quality work. Fast forward 5 years. They are overpriced and both my 2012 Camry and Highlander are in worse shape than when I took them in for service/repair.
The Highlander was taken in for brake repairs. It now has a grinding noise in the front when stopping and a warping noise in the rear. I took it back in for them to repair the brakes and to replace batteries in the tire sensors. They found no issues with the front or rear brakes and told me they can’t replace the batteries in the sensors and would have to install a new sensor(which cost over $300). The tire sensor light came on nearly immediately after leaving the dealership and they told me another sensor must have quit working and suggested I have the other 3 replaced. No thank you. I can deal with the dash light to save $1000. I recently took the vehicle to Costco for tires and they told me all 5 batteries were dead and it didn’t appear that any sensors had been replaced recently. It cost less than $300 to have the batteries changed in all 5 sensors.
The Camry… I took it in for starter replacement and full engine servicing while there. This cost an arm and a leg and included fuel injector cleaning as well as spark plug and wire replacement. Twice now since I took it in for servicing I have had trouble with the engine starting. It turned over beautifully but fails to start. Still not sure what the culprit is, but obviously seems to have something to do with plugs, wires or injectors. Additionally, after the servicing my gas mileage decreased about 2 mpg.
I hate to write reviews, especially bad ones, but had to let people know about what is going on at S&S. For their prices and work, you are better off going to the dealership. I hope they make positive changes, but I will not be taking my vehicles back to them.
