I came in last week with my grandfather Frank Garrett to try to pawn some gold to get money to buy a bulldozer.
Not only were the staff incredibly rude and lowballed us; after we refused to sell it, they keep calling and harassing him on his business phone every night. If this doesn't stop, we're going to have to contact Deputy Martin about this.

My father purchased 3k in gold and silver last year. Unfortunately, my father passed away a month or so after this. The order still had not been given to my father when he passed. Luckily, my brother was also listed as a contact/pick up contact. Long story short; we neither have the money back nor the gold/silver and it has been a year since my dad died. We have shown up repeatedly, called, and even had the lawyer handling my dad's probate send a demand letter which has not been responded to. We are given the run around every time we've shown up there even though he kept saying to come back this day or that day. Please, please, please do not do business with these people. Judging from the other reviews, we aren't the only ones who are/have been in the same situation. Shame on this 'business'. Literally stealing money from dead people and their families.

Rick Davis took $15,500 from my brother March 10, 2023 for silver coins. Rick has kept his money not giving him his order.
We both have contacted him several times over the last year. He keeps lying, telling us “the order will be here next week” over and over.
He still advertises on UCTV local Georgia station, I call the Judy show.
Do not order any gold or silver from him. He seems to be a very dishonest man.

Your friend in the jewelry business, HAHA ! I took a $2600.00 ring to him to sell and all he would offer is $20.00. What a FRAUD and
a JOKE. He is here to serve himself to ripping people off. His commercials are misleading and a scam. His commercials are made to panic attack you so he can get richer and laugh at you.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CROOK. We bought $25,000 in gold coins from him in October of 2023. NEVER received them. After being lied to repeatedly and given every crazy excuse you can imagine for not having the coins, we demanded our money back. Rick Davis wrote us a check in mid January 2024. It BOUNCED. We called the Hamilton County Police Department and was advised to send him a 10 day demand letter. We did that to no avail. The next step was to file for a warrant for fraud. We also took that action. It is March 20, 2024 and have just gotten our money back from the DA's office. THIS MAN IS A FRAUD. HE IS NOT A GOLD BROKER. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM.

Not sure what has changed, but his business dealings are currently piss poor at best. Just like others have mentioned, he is super quick to PROMISE you a delivery of Gold, but he is horrible at following through. Forces you to pay cash upfront as he apparently orders it from the moon! Promised delivery in 10 days. I called at 15 days, since I hadn't heard from him, and was told a bunch of excuses, as well as tongue lashed for even calling him about it! Now it is 21 days and no sign of delivery. BUYER BEWARE! This business is losing trust in the local community very quickly.

Ricks a lier and loves money more than man. Dude said he'd give $1 under on the spot of silver on the phone, then in person offered $2 under spot within a couple hours.
There's a reason he has lion pictures al over his shop. It's because he souled out.
He's scared these days with the economy. He'll get what's coming to him and his pile of Metal.

Called Rick Davis Gold yesterday. Young lady answered. I asked the price they were giving on Silver Rounds? She asked a older gentleman who quoted $25.00. So crossed town and went there. The very nice young lady took care of me. She asked the grumpy old man again. The grumpy old man looked at me and said these are Silver rounds not Walking Liberty Rounds they are $23.00. I started to walk out, but the nice young lady said I will give you $25.00 for each round. She said that is what he quoted and that is what told you. She made up the difference. The grumpy old man lost a customer over $10.00. I will not be back. The showroom smells awful with cigarette smoke. Go see The Vault in Ft. Oglethorpe. They always give above spot price for silver. Cleveland Coin and Jewelry gives above spot for silver. Both give clean air customer service
