I was so very pleased with the service I received at Chattanooga TN Gunbarrel Rd location. A young man named Patrick was a blessing to me. Thank you so very much.

Called Grooming Dept to make appointment for our dog to get his nails clipped. Have been going there for years. Employee pulled up our account and mentioned both dogs by name and said they were “referred out”. I asked what that meant, she said the shepherd was 12 and too old and at that age they can’t stand. I said ok, ours stood without a problem and started to ask about our other 4 year old dog and she hung up.
We will be going to PetSmart from now on.

recently visited Petco and was extremely disappointed with the service. The staff were dismissive and rude, showing a complete lack of interest in helping me. I felt ignored and undervalued as a customer. This experience was very frustrating and has left a negative impression on me. I hope Petco addresses this issue and improves their customer

I am a paying member of the monthly membership program. On June 12, 2024, I had an appointment for my puppy at 9:45 AM. Unfortunately, when I arrived at 9:50 AM—well within the 15-minute grace period—I found the doors locked. As I pulled up, another customer also attempted to enter, and we both waited outside for several minutes before driving around the parking lot, as the door indicated that they opened at 10:00 AM.
Upon finally gaining entry, I encountered Madison, who was supposed to groom my puppy. She displayed a very poor attitude, being rude and short with me. I had to request a manager because I found Madison's behavior unacceptable and did not want her to groom my dog. The manager, Crystal, was more polite and apologetic but ultimately unhelpful.
Crystal explained that they were overbooked, although I had booked my appointment days in advance. I was further dismayed to see that they were willing to take the other customer’s dog, despite both of us arriving at the same time and her appointment being after mine. After some discussion, they decided not to groom the other customer’s dog due to its aggressive behavior. I then asked if they could take my dog, as they had just declined the other appointment, but they insisted that they were still overbooked.
This experience felt incredibly discriminatory, unprofessional, and inconvenient. The groomers scheduled for the morning shift on June 12, 2024, at the clearly did not want to work and should not represent the Petco brand. Although I was offered a 50% discount for a future appointment, I declined because I no longer felt comfortable with the groomer and was unable to use the discount at another Petco location.
I hope that Petco will address this issue seriously and improve its customer service standards.

visited the store today, and the management was extremely disorganized. There was an older white female manager, probably over 50, with graying hair on the sides, who was yelling loudly. The place also had a pervasive unpleasant smell. I would recommend going to the PetSmart across the street instead.

Title: Standing Against Discrimination: Petco Customer's Appeal Regarding Manager Crystal
Dear Petco Management,
As a loyal customer of Petco, I am disheartened to learn about the discriminatory behavior exhibited by one of your managers, Crystal. It is unacceptable for any employee, especially a manager, to engage in actions that foster inequality and create a hostile environment for their colleagues.
Reports of Crystal's biased treatment, microaggressions, and promotion disparities deeply concern me as a customer. Discrimination not only harms employees but also tarnishes the reputation of Petco as a company committed to inclusivity and respect for all.
I urge Petco's management to take swift and decisive action to address the issue of discrimination within its ranks. Conduct a thorough investigation into the allegations against Crystal, implement diversity training programs for all employees, and establish clear channels for reporting discrimination. By doing so, Petco can reaffirm its dedication to equality and create a positive environment for both employees and customers.

The lady at the counter seemed preoccupied with her phone. The store didn't seem 100% clean. Very crammed.
