Okay so I wasn’t gonna write a review but this place honestly isn’t it. Let’s start with how this place is we were viewing cats and as we were we noticed one that had worms crawling out and the staff seemed oblivious to it until I notified them. Second we went to see the dogs but they didn’t seem to be well maintained or even cared for at all; all of them were left outside while it was raining and had feces and mud all over them didn’t seem to be in the best shape at all. This place claims to save animals from other shelters off the kill list which I do respect but I don’t respect them for not being open to give them a good home and just keep them there for show. They say the application process is easy and very accepting but unfortunately that was not the case. All my wife wanted was a loving cat and they for whatever reason denied both of our applications. Now mind you my wife is very much an animal person and I’ve never seen her be mean or hateful to any animal but for whatever reason they didn’t see it that way and are just gonna keep the cats for show. Hopefully they resolved the worms issue and treat the dogs better than they did that day in the rain. All in all don’t recommend go save one from another shelter and save your time and money.

For one the animals were not well kept at all!!! Cats had worms the dogs were outside in the rain covered in mud and feces. Some of which seemed aggressive. They say they want to find them good homes yet will deny people left and right without any reasoning whatsoever! They would rather keep the animals there for people to play with instead of properly be loved and taken care of! I will never go there again and don’t recommend this place to anyone. You will go there fall in love with an animal and be turned away quickly! 10/10 Don’t recommend

I recently adopted a cat from here, and I can say that it was an amazing experience. They let me come in about a month prior and just hang out with all of the kittens while I was considering adoption. The staff is so kind and informative, they clearly care a lot about getting these animals to good homes. When I was ready to adopt, I filled out an application for any of the kittens. I ended up with Mantis (renamed Hime), an absolutely gorgeous black kitten. She’s so well socialized, and amazingly sweet. I am so grateful for the Pet Placement Center and all that they did for me and my new family member!

We had a fantastic experience with this center. When we first walked in, you could smell the freshness of cleaner/sanitizer, which I could only imagine how difficult it is to keep up on the cleaning of a shelter, so great job to them! The biggest thing we walked away with was viewing the compassion and care that the staff had with the animals, they were good hearted people. We adopted Waldo, his new name is George, and I am so thankful we got him from this center. They have an Amazon wishlist on their website, please go and purchase items if you can for these sweet babies, they have made it easy and quick to be able to donate. I cannot say enough of how great our experience was. Thank you!!

Fantastic place!!!! The people are so nice and sweet. We got our dog without any trouble. They were so hopeful, and would recommend getting your animal from them.

This is actually a 100% no kill shelter with staff that really care about their animals. If you can’t adopt, you can foster or volunteer and the animals make it so much worth it. I make good money elsewhere and I wish I could afford to work full tome here.

We rescued our cat from here back in April of this year as a birthday present for my little sister, and I have so much good stuff to say about them! "Penny" (now renamed Haley) is such a sweet kitty with the largest personality and my sister's best friend! Pet Placement Center is full of the most caring, animal-loving people. Everyone was so nice and informative, as well as responsive with any questions we've might have had. Adoption process was easy, and when it was time to go home, they even gave us a few of her favorite toys. I can’t say enough good things about them.

I volunteer here on occasion. This place is awesome overall. Management takes their dogs from shelters who are about to kill them. They're beautiful animals with great personalities. I can't do enough with letting people know how much they want and need to meet people like you who are reading this right now. Even if you aren't in a position to take on the responsibility of adoption right now, there are so many other ways you can give. There's financial donations for those who are able, you could donate time in helping staff, or just come and play with the animals. Check one out and take them for a much needed hike at your favorite park. It's a great nonprofit to support.

Staff were friendly despite me dropping in without an appointment. I was just looking to see what kind and how many dogs they have. I will be looking for a new dog soon and am hoping to find the right one. They were busy cleaning, feeding animals, and doing laundry. The interior was clean, free of any unpleasant odors, which must be difficult at best! I was impressed. They obviously care about and take great care of their animals.

The stuff was friendly but one and she was being very rude and ugly to me So If was you will go elsewhere to adopt your animals. If you don’t want to be treated like that because her attitude was very nasty so please take that place into consideration red Bank animal shelter. Thank you Amanda Hixson.

Large selection of very friendly cats and equally friendly staff. The adoption fees are much lower than other adoption centers I've been to. Great experience!
