Incredible people to buy from. They are all so kind and very helpful. Mr Meek's himself was there when my wife and I arrived and was very personable and we both walked away feeling like he truly appreciated our business and not like we were just another sale. The items we purchased are all incredible finds and nothing like what we have found at any other auction in East Tennessee. You won't be disappointed or feel taken advantage of like some other Auctions we've been part of. See you all at the next sale and thank you again. The Jordan's

We attended our first auction ever at this location. What began as a fun evening quickly devolved into a completely unnecessary embarrassment. We did our best to figure out the process and selected items prior to the auction we were interested in. We bid (and won) what we thought was one thing but turned out not to be what we expected. Instead of speaking about it with us personally, we were called out and embarrassed in front of the entire group in attendance. The owner grab

The owner grabbed one of the items back from us and said he would just auction it off again. We were told by the girl at the registration desk to go into a small room off the side to find the items we had won. Then we were yelled at to get out of that very room by the owner. Furthermore we were told we had lied about what we had told them when we went to pick our items up and pay for them. All of this was due to miscommunication and should have been handled in a more professional manner on their part. We felt all they cared about was moving merchandise and not the customers. That's fine. There are plenty of antique stores and auction houses that we will gladly spend our money in, however we will never spend another penny in this place. We left feeling completely mortified, insulted, and embarrassed. That is not the way to attract and retain repeat customers. It is also a surefire way to lose a potential client. There was an item in particular that drew us to this auction, but we were also looking for an auction house to sell many items belonging to a client of ours. What amounted to a $35 item in dispute lost them thousands of dollars in potential sales from what we thought we may allow them to sell. We are now exploring other options for our client. This was our very first auction experience, and it went just ad as it possibly could.

Always love coming to this auction. It always has the best quality furniture and smalls. Les Meeks, his beautiful wife and beautiful daughters do a fantastic job, and are so helpful and very professional. I encourage everyone to come here.

I had a blast at Meeks Auction this weekend. Great family and super people. There was an incident at the end of the auction that bothered me. Mr. Meeks announced 3 times at the end of the auction: "It there anything else that anyone wants", no one said anything so he closed the auction. I had moved up to talk to Mr. Meeks as I always do do find out any history of the pieces of furniture I buy. A young man came up and told Mr. Meeks he had been waiting on a couple of chairs t
