After pulling off the freeway due to a flat tire, I pulled into Mapco for help. I was assisted by employees Vanessa and Robert. They were incredible! Such kind people! They came out to my vehicle and evaluated the situation and came up with options for repair. I’m so appreciative for the time they spent to help me. Mapco has two amazing employees!

Should be 0 for the night shift, but I go every morning so 10 stars for 1st shift 3rd shift is a joke. Never have I ever had to APOLOGIZE for the way I speak or talk in any establishment. And was told to leave over trying to purchase a toy for my child and complementing their lighter selection... because I collect lighters. But will never go back after that. I'm not from here so I guess that's how chattanooga is smh terrible terrible terrible.

My lady Wendy King ? went in there to get drinks for our Mapco cups . And there was a fat white guy with dark brown hair working by his self and he over priced us on refills on drinks . And he made us pay 4.99 . My wife Mrs Wendy King will complain about it . Here on Thursday July 27 , 2023 at 12:26pm . My wife Mrs Wendy King will talk to a manager about it !! My wife Mrs Wendy King is very unhappy about it !!!

Went to this location at 2 am. Went to the restroom and came out to purchase a drink. When I first pulled up, the employee was outside on sidewalk talking to another guy sitting on hood of car. I stood at register for 5 minutes before the employee came in and told me they were closed on. Thought this was a 24 hour store??????

I've come to learn that if you want to know the true character of an establishment, visit them during their least popular hours.I know that 2 am may not be the least popular hour here, but I definitely discovered the character of the staff member working behind the counter that night. I had come in to grab a cup of coffee and some Little Debbies Donut Sticks (go ahead and judge me). I was coming home from work and had my backpack on. Just a little backstory. I have been a Mapco Rewards customer since they launched the program back in 2012 and have been a fan of the majority of their locations since that time. Anyway, I made my coffee and stood behind one person that was cashing out. When it was my turn to pay, I let the cashier know I was a rewards member and wanted to enter my phone number. After I entered it, I noticed the cashier blatantly staring at me. I waited for him to finish cashing me out, but he kept staring at me. Before I could ask him why he was so enamored with me, he asked me if I had been banned from the store. This was definitely not what I thought was the problem. I responded with "what did you say".He repeated the question. After processing his question, I said no, why would you ask me that. He replied with " Well I was told that a black guy ( I'm black by the way) with a backpack was banned from the store. I just looked at him like he was the idiot that I thought he was. I then told him that no I had never been banned but since all black guys look the same, I understood the mistake. I would go on in detail about what played out, but this is a review and not an opinion column. Bottom line is, this person was out of line for the comment. NOTE TO MAPCO: If you're banning someone from your store, make sure you have an accurate description of the person being banned. Maybe a picture or at the very least, a name. Or if someone does something so bad against your establishment that you don't want them as a customer, then contact the police and have that person "Trespassed" so there is an official report that would be accompanied by a picture and description. This 3rd shift cashier clearly has not been made aware that profiling customers will make you famous, for all the wrong reasons. I left irritated, not angry. This incident was just confirmation of the issues that still plague our society in much of the south. However, Mapco has lost me as a customer until someone reaches out to me and addresses the matter. This may never happen, so maybe the following stats will:Since 2012 my purchase totals via debit or credit card are as follows(excludes cash transactions) totals rounded to the nearest dollar. Includes C-Store and Fuel purchases.Alabama Mapco locations - $8436.00Tennessee Mapco Locations - $11,692.00Total -$20,128For clarity, I worked for a national tech company for 5 years and had a 9 state territory that I drove to so fuel purchases make up the bulk of this number. And remember, cash purchases are not reflected. So Mapco, your 3rd shift employee in East Ridge Tennessee has cost you a customer that has spent well over 20 thousand dollars and also writes reviews. Congratulations on an amazing hire.

My fiancé was going to get me and our baby a drink and the late night worker slammed the sliding door in his and a few other customers faces and told them they had to stand outside (while it was cold) till he got done doing what he needed to do! Meanwhile there was 3/4 customers in the store getting mad wanting out and the worker told them they had to wait to be let out .. that is awful being treated that way I use to work at a mapco and we never did that !!!
