Goodwill used to be a decent place to shop, but now they've started price gauging, selling used donated goods for almost brand new prices.

Way over priced, tags from the store still on the items sold for less then what GW has it priced, asked a clerk if I could get it for the retail price since it was less and she said no, she said they were suppose to remove those tags before putting there price on. The amount of broken junk in that store they are selling is shameful. Shoes with obvious holes in them selling for retail prices, just sad and a waste of time anymore. I use to enjoy the treasure finds but now they pull the good stuff out and keep it to sell online and put literal junk out to sell way over priced!

Went to the store an hour and a half after they opened on Monday. Color of the week was showing blue. I shopped about 30 minutes and found a couple of blue tags got to the register and was being rang up and I hear three employees discussing how nobody had changed the color of the week. I was very irritated and almost walked out. How hard is it to change a sign or at least been offered some kind of discount for the blue tags I found. It’s happened several times at this location. Change the sign before you open the doors on MONDAY morning!!!!!

The Brainerd store has a person living in the parking lot who clearly has mental problems and I feel is a danger to both employees and custom and beware of the dog that may attack you

Always loved this Goodwill to donate and shop. Sorry guys, with the recent insane price hikes I cannot bring myself to donate or shop any longer. This is definitely NOT inline with the other local thrift stores.

Everything was ridiculously priced for one. And more importantly the fat man at the checkout was absolutely rude and told me he couldn’t sell me shoes bc THAT would

The pricing has gone up drastically- double and triple on most items. When the items that they sell are all donated for free, I don’t think that the new pricing is appropriate.

Been going to this goodwill for 2 years now. I used to tell everyone to go there. Now unless you have a lot of money don't waste your time. I thought Goodwill was suppose to help people who can't ford the department store prices. It's a crying shame yalk have subsided to the greed and conformity of retail . Whoever is in charge of raising the prices and alienating the ones goodwill was originally started for. There is a special place in hell for people like you.

I heard through the grapevine the Dollar Tree higher ups may start a chain of thrift stores. If so many thrift stores may go out of business. The books may say that Goodwill is a "Non-profit" organization but I don't believe that is the case behind the scenes. The prices are way too high. Dollar tree higher ups please do it!

I'm a local and have shopped here several times. I haven't been in a few weeks and came today and was shocked at the prices! They started a new tagging system and the prices are through the roof now! I shop in Atlanta as well and on a lot of items the prices are "HIGHER" than Atlanta. Are they paying for donations now or are they still getting them for free? If they are still getting them for free please donate elsewhere or give them to the homeless or less fortunate families. I truly feel sorry for the people in the community that are in need. Greed will drive this place downhill. We need some new thrift stores in the area that truly have a heart for helping those in need. If you get something for free it should never be priced over $5.

Their recent price increase is ridiculous. I can understand increases in smaller amounts but some of the clothing items have gone up 4 dollars or more per garment. $6+ for a used shirt from walmart. I understand paying employees and such but this store has turned into a consignment shop. I'll go elsewhere and I can guarantee you'll see a lot of your regulars go somewhere else too. Really sad because not everyone can afford such a price increase on used items. Everything they sell is pure profit for them. Greedy

I have never been there to donate items that they weren’t extremely rude and complained the entire time. I will donate elsewhere or throw it away before I go back to this location.

So I'm a stickler for a bargain! I've bought from Goodwill for over 30 years! Not to Resale Anything! But to find cute things to give as gifts or whatever! As a single mom I bought many clothes there over the years 20 years ago!! With this said....has anyone seen the prices hikes? OMG ITS RIDICULOUS! No Reason for them to raise their prices so crazy! The merchandise is DONATED and Used! I'm only one person but I will not go back! These are things over the years! I walked out today with Nothing!

Love this goodwill, I have donated and shopped here and I always find something good! Staff is always friendly and the location is one of the cleanest I’ve been to.

If you're looking for a place to drop off your gently used excess quality clothing that you worked all day gathering, packaging, delivering and unloading to be greeted by some whiny, complaining receiving clerk (using the clerk title loosely here) saying things like "Oh God, how much more are you going to bring in!", then this is the place.
