Consistently the laziest employees in Asheville. Never fails to disappoint. Employee left to go sit in a car with his chubby girlfriend in the parking lot. Lots of other stories too like how they just decided not to show up for the TOTK release and someone from another store had to drive over and fill in for them. I will always go to another store from now on.

GameStop has a Pokemon promotion going on in store. I arrived at this location on September 19th, the day after the promo started. I was told they were out of promo cards already. I imagine it's because they are being scalped on the internet for a high price. Something management may want to look into. Either way I will continue to stay away from this location. Nothing but issues every time I go here.

I came in and was greeted by Ladell. He helped me and my son find a great game to play together. He went above and beyond to provide customer service and I will come back again and again.

Managed to purchase the PS5 "bundle" (already an $800+ purchase through GameStop), and the two of us that were there at opening were told that we were REQUIRED to purchase a warranty with the bundle. Seemed sketchy, but since I wanted a PS5, which is difficult to come by legitimately, I agreed to purchase an unneeded and unwanted warranty.Went to a different GameStop in Chattanooga today and the manager on location confirmed my suspicion that the "required warranty" with the bundle was a 100% lie.Not sure if he's a manager, but Ladell lied to our faces to push an extra warranty purchase.
