Staff is extremely helpful and respectful. I’ve been using foresters for about a year and a half and could not be more happy with the results I’ve gotten. Extremely knowledgeable and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

This place is awesome and easy to work with Jarrod and Doug can do it all. I highly recommend them best place in Hixson by far. It feels good to be treated as if your business actually matters versus just being another number!!!

Update: The owner refunded half of my service costs. At first, he said he wouldn't refund me because of the honest review I left. After I gave 5 stars, he said he would give me half back if I didn't leave another bad review. . . This was my first experience with a visibly angry owner & it was very unsettling to see him shaking out of anger. I shpuld have paid with a credit card & just let them handle my dispute. But, the owner said they offered cash discounts, so it is partially my fault for not thinking ahead to a potential issues like this.I should have read the other bad reviews on here before having it towed here.Forrester’s diagnosed my car that wouldn't start, they replaced a $6.99 spark plug & charged me $134 for diagnostic/labor.I picked up my car as they were closing for the day. They had just left as I was turning on my car to find the check engine light was still on. I drove the car & broke down in the middle of the lane after about 5 miles of driving. The clutch wasnt working & my car wouldn't move at all.When I called to let the owner know what had happened he said it was possibly because they forgot to “clear the codes” & that I could bring it back in but they might not be able to get to it for a few days.I took it to Ford because I needed my car asap. After they read the codes read & it was actually the TCM that needed to be replaced. Ford told me that Forester's proposed solution of clearing the codes wouldn't have fixed anything, which is correct because I asked Ford to humor me & try it out. Needless to say I feel completely taken advantage of. The owner said he would give me back money if they did more work, which would have costed me more money. So, it didn't really make sense for me to risk them not fixing my car for a second time. Seemed like a bait & switch tactic to me.

I cannot praise Foresters Auto Repair enough! besides always being fully competent with repairing my truck, they are very able and professional in correctly diagnosing the problem, then carefully Explaining what they found.so I could understand the situation and give me options. each time I have witnessed the owner Jarrett casually get involved with my repair to ask a few questions as follow up I say casually because his staff is so good. I always ask for their advice on my old but well taken care of truck. And future advice on my next one. this is a company That puts customer's and their business ahead of money. Latey, they had fixed and put in a part that my trucks computer stated I needed. after about a week the same light came on. After hours of research, it turned out that the computer was only partially correct and i didn't need the expensive part. this really blew me away. they kept my old part, put it back in, refunded all my money meaning labor also! and suggested A local place to really look at possibly rebuild my transmission. they are the reason I have decided to keep my old truck!
