I should have known better than to do business with this company to begin with. 2 1/2 week old pair of $200 shoes ripped and they wouldn’t return or exchange them with box and receipt in hand. Manager said that had to go directly through manufacturer. Would have been better to buy directly to begin with. Don’t waste your time with Dick’s

CUSTOMER SERVICE
Love the huge inventory selections and brands here. However, I end up disappointed with costumer service every single time I go.
There is a large number of staff but seldom do they know how to help. There seems to be a lack of inventory knowledge and initiative to help the costumers.
This is specifically prevalent among the younger employees.

So I went in to look at shoes with my husband. We asked for 3 pairs of shoes,After waiting over 30 minutes and nothing I had found some skirts listed on sale for our daughter. I picked 2 out and we headed to the register. When given the total it did not reflect the sale price listed. The manager comes over very rudely and tells me he isn’t arguing with me the sign says bras, but there is clearly no bra on this rack on the other side there are bras as well as another sale sign.We left of course. False advertising is what they are about. They didn’t remove the sign or place the correct items on the rack to reflect what they are advertising. They will simply tell you you’re wrong! ACADEMY WILL GET ALL OUR MONEY. I would’ve bought this at full price if he wasn’t rude!

Decent selection of Nike gear and Stanley cups, went in for a pair of shoes though and waited 20 minutes before leaving because we got ZERO assistance. Good thing Hokas are sold all over town ?♂️

Went looking for, Nashville Predators, shirt and asked a lady if they had anything and she was somewhat confused, or maybe that’s just the way her face is? But she pointed me to where they’d be. They didn’t have anything, but as I was turning the corner another worker approached and she started going off about how I asked that and pretty much made me sound dumb for asking. Saying that why didn’t I go to Nashville and get one and blah blah blah. I mean they didn’t try to hide the convo either. Pretty much loud and out in the open. Anyways, bad store due to the goofy employees.

Terrible customer service. Waited way too many minutes before I walked across the store to find an employee. He didn’t even want to help, then I waited several more minutes before I just left and went to another store. Wasted my time.

Normally Dick’s Sporting Goods has a fishing section, but because this is in a mall with a bunch of feminine men, they have no fishing section.

Went in looking for a red bottle and found one but had a dent in it. Everyone was super helpful and the manager gave me a great discount on it. 10/10 service. I’ll be getting my Yeti gear here from now on.

Drove all the way there to get a golf club re gripped and got there about 8 and they close at 9 and the guy said he couldn’t do it because he had surgery on his hand if he can’t do his job he doesn’t need to be there apparently nobody else in the store could do it utterly ridiculous!!

I feel bad for the employees that work here. One person running the check out while three managers stand there watching and making jokes while the line is at least 15 people deep. Horrible management.
