I hate to give this place a bad review because it has so much potential but it was just not it. First of all $59.85 just for my child to play because I had to also pay for me and my husband to get in is outrageous. Second of all, the cleanliness is not there. The water table has what looks to be mold in it. Some of the exhibits look really dirty. Also, this is supposed to be a place for kids but it just seems to be pretty unsafe to me. Lots of chances for kids to be injured. Lots of high places with not high enough railings. Made me and my husband really nervous. Would not recommend wasting your money ?

I was visiting. Super delighted. Your children could spend the entire day there. They have a great diversity of activities. I fell in love with this place.

So much fun with my niece and family. Good for 1- 11 yo. I even had fun, but kind of crowded on the special event night.

Could use some better a.c and a lil cheaper of parking but otherwise love it.

I know people rave about this, but I'd recommend saving your money. It is $20 per person (including adults) which is silly considering everything is geared towards children. Once you get over the high cost, the next issue is the cleanliness. I arrived right after opening for the day, and the place was filthy. I think it's pretty clear that cleaning isn't very thorough. Most of the exhibits are intended for you to drop your kids and sit on your phone in the corner, so I'm unsure why it costs $20 for an adult. The last issue is the staff. They are uncaring and unbothered by everything going on around them.

Attended Family Free Night with my 20 yo, 14 yo twins, and 6 mo infant - all had a great time.
It was jam-packed from 530-645p; and cleared up around 7. So much easier to explore and experience everything.
So so much to explore.

It’s always fun and exciting for the kids! The museum is constantly updating g activities so it never gets boring. Grandkids ages 3-9 love it! Stuff to explore from crawling babies to adults like me who like exploring! It’s clean. Good restrooms.
I would like to see adult sweatshirts/T-shirt’s in gift shop. Also parking in back is convenient but not a lot of room.
We usually get the grandparents pass or the teachers discount pass. Well worth it!

A lot of old broken stuff. Crazy expensive for what you get even if it was all in good repair.

Please deep clean the water table, so full of pink slime mold. Needs a heavy dose of chlorine. My kids love it here but that water table is a bacteria pool.

It was a fairly good experience, it is highly biased towards a green energy agenda, would much appreciate a more neutral presentation, especially on the energy interactive displays. Most of the activities are still in working condition but some are very worn or in disrepair. There are a lot of fun options, music, arts, theater, discovery and many play places, In spite of the negatives, it was fun for the kids.

We had a fun time. The play areas were full of ways to have fun. The creative zones were filled with a variety of options. Music, acting, digging for fossils, cooking, building rockets, coding, and more.

The absolute best children's museum our family has ever been to. The kids loved the July 4th programming, and the science demonstration. The water table and indoor/outdoor play structures were incredibly cool. I also really appreciated the STEM activities and cultural inclusivity of everything from Southern bluegrass to Guatemala's celebration of Día de Muertos.

Great place, we always have a great experience.... I'm not happy with the security guard, who in the world would hire someone with methmouth as a security for a place like this? If you're going to disarm people before they come in, at least make sure the security is adequate.

This is now our go to for our three-year-old. While Saturdays can be busy membership is pretty much a must for any families in the general region. We really like the Saturday special programming and also the various things that the kids can stay busy doing I also think it’s teaching my three-year-old to share a little bit, which we’re not quite there yet Let’s face it Neither are someadults. overall, our favorites at this age include the clinic station the kitchen set up, the water simulator, the be exhibit and so many other things.. Strongly recommended.
