Dispatchers rude half the time and the buses are never on time. I’ve been late to work because they obviously don’t care about anyone’s time. Do better because it’s trash.

if i could leave 0 stars i would. you could catch covid 3x's before you could catch a bus in this town. it is so unbelievably inconsistent. the whole entire thing needs to be shut down and reimagined to actually get people to work on time. also no free transfers? never have i ever seen such disrespect.

I first ???? of all want to give a Shout-out to all the Carta Drivers ????. They have dedicated themselves to the well-being, and safety of all patrons riding the bus. I personally believe that the City's Employment Rate will suffer, if not for these dedicated bus ???? drivers. These are the the drivers that I personally call Carta. Matter of fact the City's overall Production of Growth would suffer OMG ????. I don't even know, if you guys realize the economic impact it would have on this city. If not for Carta where would we be. Say what ? I been in a lot of cities that would benefit from Public Transportation. I remember when the Shuttle first came ! There were some speculation on how productive the services would be ? It has taken the city to another level. We can provide a professional service to tourist in our city, as well as transportation for locals to their job. Shout -out to "Carta". Keep doing what you guys are doing ????. Thank-you. You will thank them as well. I ???? Chatt Town Mr. C.

I really wants to share my concerns with how so many clients are getting disrespected by the dispatcher Mr. Larry.I have called in numerous of times to speak to someone and he always tells me he is the supervisor. When, I cancelled my rides he tells me he's going to cancel for both rides and another dispatcher have to end up calling me about my RSVP. I talked to several riders on the Carta In- Care Van and we have talked about how rude and disrespectful he is to the elderly. I am disable in a wheelchair and shouldn't be treated like this. Also, I want to give praise and honor my overwhelming kindness to Mrs. Hannaza Burney, Mr.Frank the guy that works on the weekend's. And one of the new drivers named Mr. Charles. That's the top priority names but it's still so many few of dispatchers and drivers that's awesome in their roles of duty. They goes over and beyond call of duty. P. S., If this don't get anyone's attention however, I have no choice but to take it up with the corporate office.Thank you.

My elderly Grandmother has been riding Carta for years, but has recently been complaining about a man named Mr. Larry. She says, every other experience is great, but when she calls to set an appointment for the Carta care van she has the worst experience. He is very rude, and most of the time has her late for her appointment by giving her the wrong pick up time. I think, somethings should be done about Mr. Larry, due to him dealing with people on a day to day basis. My grandmother loves to ride Carta, but dislikes when she has to call and interact with him. She says his attitude is the worst.

My Grandmother is an elderly lady, and she has been using the Carta bus system for years because she enjoys it. She has as never had any complaints over the years, but recently she has been expressing to me how much of an hassle it has been to call and interact with someone who has been constantly rude. There is a man that answers the phone, that goes by Larry. He has not only been getting attitudes with my grandmother, but also making her be late, by giving her wrong pick up times for the Carta care van. I think something should be done about this, because my grandmother has always enjoyed riding the Carta buses, but hate to even call to step up appointment due to Mr.Larry being rude.

We used the downtown shuttle to go to the Chattanooga Choo Choo hotel. All the signs said the shuttle was running until 10:45 PM. Some of the signs even said 11:00 We tried to get on one of the shuttles at 10:15 at the main station and the driver told us they were closed for the night. I understand it’s a free service and I appreciate that. But if you had the signage correct I would not have had to walk a mile and a half to get back to my hotel.

I enjoy using public transit when I visit different cities in the US. CARTA is definitely one of the more trying bus systems to ride on. All Transit . org rates CARTA's bus system a 3.3 out of 10. I think that rating is pretty accurate. At best, its a below average bus system; just slightly better than nothing. However, after using it for some time I feel the one positive of CARTA is that the majority of the drivers are professional and friendly. That's probably the only good thing I can say about CARTA. It lacks in just about every other category: Buses run infrequently, mechanical condition of buses, poor street signage, areas of service -- all awful. If you're a visitor to Chattanooga and you're not leaving the downtown area [which -- why would you] you probably won't have too many issues.Bottom line: Poor public transit system at best. Advice: Get a car!

Very nice bus driver who helped us avoid the rain to get back to our car. She was super helpful and I love that they are electric. I would definitely use the buses again!

Your bus drivers are HORRIBLE. Out of the hundreds of rides I've taken on the Chattanooga buses I would say an honest 1% of them is cheerful, polite, and does a good job. Just try waving one down making eye contact and even having them wave at you if you are several yards from the bus stop, trying to get there. They blaze online reunion. I hate taking the bus. And the number one reason are your drivers

If I was the GM of CARTA or of the Chattanooga parking authority, I would fire myself. Here’s my story.Visited Chattanooga from out of state. Your pristine law-abiding, solid citizen. Mint record. Servant mindset. You know, the usz. I visit Chattanooga for lunch while passing through and attending a concert locally that night. When searching for a parking space, we found a side street near UTC campus that had no signage about parking restrictions or campus zoning . Street half full with parallel-parked cars, no parking permits. Should be fine here. We spend 45min eating and return to our car and find a parking ticket. Huh? So I take photos before leaving and look up state law on parking signage. According to Tennessee state law, we were fully in compliance. So I appeal the ticket and request a hearing. One month later I have my “hearing” with 2 associates from the parking authority. They start off by saying “this is a university-sanctioned parking zone.” I ask where the associated signage is and they say “4 streets over”. I say “sir, how many street signs do you pass when you drive into work each morning from your driveway to the parking Authority office?” The dude is such a j*** that he immediately responded without any hesitation “324 signs!“ Riiiight. Because you have counted every single sign on your 20 minute commute into work? What a joke. It became immediately evident that this “appeal hearing“ was purely for optics, to make me feel like we have a fair local government. Except that’s clearly not the case.Moral of a story: to expect the average law biting citizens to associate one 10“ x 12“ street sign posted four blocks away to apply to the exact 12 foot spot they park their car along a low traveled side street it’s completely asinine. You are the exact reason why Americans hate government officials. If I were the GM or either associate on my appeal hearing call, I would fire myself! Try listening to citizens and you would actually get a better received impression in your community. I empathize for all other local government employees actually doing a great job and being overshadowed by poor showings like these.I encourage you to audit your internal processes; I guarantee that you would learn anything or two.

I've missed employment due to malfunction card, running back and forth across streets attempting to get to garage for fix to be told not going to the garage even tho the sign reads garage. Inconveniences and funds spent bus rides after purchase of month long pass only one week prior, not to mention the stress and anxiety one mental I'll and struggling citizen had to endure and rude when asking for help. Lack of communication

Group of five of us waited under the bus stop sign for a bus that was ten minutes late, only to watch it pass by without even slowing down. Unreal.
