very rude employees, didn’t even know they had a web-sight, Ive been looking for a certain gun for a few years, found it online at this store went to the store confirmed the gun with my own eyes, was on my phone for 2 sec didn’t know they had no use of phone around guns I said sorry I didn’t see sign and got off the phone, I was in my nurse work clothes, told employees I want to place it on layaway he told me he wouldn’t sell, me the gun, asked why he said cause on the phone, pulled out my carry permit said y’all have no reason to deny me the purchase, he said they didn’t have to give reason to deny, but then said I went to the gun to quickly, told him I found out about it online, I had to show them how I found it online before I could purchase it. they have no knowledge of there online inventory web sites and judged me before even speaking with me. Was Made to fill like I was some kind of criminal. I’ll never be back, never had any problems purchasing any guns from anywhere else..

Awful. Joy the manager was hostile and spiteful with me. Bad towards employees. Even on my birthday. I spent over $800 here that day, hate to see how they treat others. When I went up the counter to work with an employee Joy the manager swooped over and took over the interaction. When I was ready to check out I asked if she got any commission on sales and she said no since she's a manager. I was just trying to help her employee, whom I don't know at all, I said well I just thought of this do you want to give the commission to your employee? She asked if he helped me at all? I responded I could find something to help me with. She then got offended and spitefully said "I can remove the discount I have for you then." She shouldn't have made that remark as it's wrong to suggest that after we had already worked out something and honestly they weren't hardly giving me a deal on anything. If she would have said "no thanks" or "no" it would have been fine. But it was awful she tried to threaten me spitefully and for trying to help her employee. Also the cold indifference she has towards her own employees was grossly ugly. I said it doesn't matter to me at all, I was just thinking it was a helpful suggestion. I couldn't wait to get out of there and wanted nothing to do with the store or her anymore. The manager said that it's her boss that is overbearing on employees. $600 items that were months old she was saying they couldn't do $10 discount. They don't have to discount anything but it's a bad experience compared to other stores nationwide. She asked my other experience and I explained other stores if they are making good money on the item and especially if it's been around for a little while they will take more than $10 off to help customer and everyone is happy. She said oh no, they don't have my boss, he won't do that. Just goes to show they can make good money on item and help customer but they choose to refuse to just to be a j*** and and get more than a good return. My guess is the bad culture comes from the boss and filters down. They should have employee training and the owner of the store trained as well on how to properly treat employees but they don't care about each other or customers. They seem to view others as someone they can try to get the most over on. Even when it means nothing to them to help the ones around them they are offended at the idea of doing so. The funny thing is people like this would make more money and last if they concentrated on helping others and being nice but they have a mean attitude towards other people. She made another negative comment towards me holding it over my head she waited for her lunch to help me. I wasn't in the store but 20 mins. Comment or complaining should have never been made. I was polite and positive the whole time and was polite when I left. If they treat employees with cold indifference, chew each other out, and treat me with spite for suggesting to help their employee when it's my birthday and spent over $800 in the store that day, how do you think they will treat you? Please go somewhere else, they don't care about you or even each other.

So, after reading the reviews I decided to post pictures of the signs at the actual gun counter. They are prohibiting pictures to being taken due to high risk of 'Straw purchases'. Nothing rude about it. Corporate owned company....the employees do what they are instructed to do.side note; despite your personal thoughts, nobody has the time or energy to stroll to the back and randomly select a customers item and "play with it". Never happens.Half of these reviews are completely bogus! Just FYI

It's usually a pretty good stop. At least for the things I go in for. These section could be bigger. The video games are way overpriced for used games and their condition. Nice friendly staff.

I've used Cash America Pawn before several times, and they have always been courteous, and when I redeemed my pawn (usually a guitar), it was always in the same mint condition that it was in when I pawned it; BUT three times I've pawned an Alvarez guitar, and when I redeemed it, I found first a small chip in the finish where someone had hit the guitar against something and damaged the finish (I repaired the finish with high-gloss Hard As Nails clear nail polish); second was a sticky spill that had dried on the guitar and was put away with the spill dried on it, and then today's incident, described below.Last month I pawned my Alvarez acoustic-electric guitar--like new finish in a hard-shell, padded case. When I picked it up today and got home with it, I noticed that the back end of the case had a huge spill on it that had run down the back of the case, from the rear latch down to the rear hinge--the entire back end of the case had some brown gunk dried on it, where someone had spilled what looked like coffee with cream and sugar on the end of the case and left it to dry like that. Fortunately the spill didn't get into the case, so the inside padding, velour lining, and the guitar itself were not damaged. Fortunately, the case is an SKB acoustic guitar case, so the spill did not soak into the case to make a permanent stain, so I was able to clean it off with a damp sponge and a soft towel. The value of the guitar and case is more than $1,000. That deserves a little bit of TLC when handling, I think. Also, I don't think it's professional to take an instrument from its case and play it while it's in pawn, especially when it's handled recklessly, and the person has a soda or cup of coffee in his hand . At least wait until the pawn has expired and the ownership has transferred to the pawn shop before monkeying with the merchandise--or phone or text the owner and ask if it's okay to play it.When I pawn something and redeem it, I expect it to be in the same condition as it was when I pawned it. I don't think that's too much to ask.The moral of this review is, if you pawn a musical instrument of value at Cash America Pawn, take photos of the instrument and its case before pawning it, and don't be surprised if either the case or the instrument are not in the same condition as it was when you pawned it.Unless I'm in dire straits, I don't think I'll be pawning anything at Cash America Pawn again. The first time, when the finish was chipped should have been my last. The third time is lesson learned.

Antisocial, but gives decent prices on loans, I felt like I was talking to a doorknob during the interaction though, however this was as soon as a they opened and long lines had formed so he could have been freaking out or waking up. Still it wasn’t pleasant not getting responses during a conversation, basic social standards are lost today. It was a shorter guy with brown hair and a goatee!

My husband just encountered the rudest man at this location. He was going to purchase a gun, drums and a ring. He snapped a picture of the gun to show his brother and then continued to shop around with no problems. When he got to the counter the employee proceeded to tell my husband that there’s no photography and was completely rude about it. He didn’t say anything to him until he was fixing to check out. Seems to me that if you didn’t want pictures to be taken you would have approached him as he was doing it. Not sure why he decided to be a j*** when he was a paying customer. But he lost money at that point and any future business from him and everyone I tell to not do business with this pawn shop. And I wish I didn’t even have to give one star because they don’t even deserve a one!

I’ve been here twice in the past month and had no issues whatsoever. Each employee I have spoken with has been talkative and kind. Most recently, I went to sell an item and had asked for $20 (because I know they need to make their money). After doing some searching, they offered me $45 which was totally unexpected. It’s hard to find honest people like that nowadays. They could have easily cheated me out of the extra $25 and I would have been none the wiser. Thanks for your help and honesty, guys!

Beware please. Do not sell or buy anything, they make you bring your things into the store to accept their offer instead of straining yourself and returning your things to your car. They are just a gang and they have no mercy.DONT LiSTEN TO ANY GOOD REVIEWs .

Simply do not sell them anything and do not buy anything, when you offer them to buy your things, they pay you garbage, and when they sell you their goods they turn into monsters. Money dogs and they know nothing about morals and humanity.

Warning to potential employees: track your hours. They will lie and cheat you out of pay. When the company investigates they will claim they didn’t see you on cameras. The manager here is a lying unprofessional horrible woman more concerned with spouting her Trump loving politics than behaving with an ounce of professionalism.

They received stolen goods, choose not to recognize serial numbers, and give the true owner a hard time. I would never work with criminals that are lacking in decency.

First time at this location. Arrived at 5:45pm with a huge, heavy basket full of items. After opening the door with my foot and supporting the basket with one arm, I was met with four employees standing behind the counter, three of which not busy on a task, displaying negative body language , staring at me, and letting out very audible sighs of irritability. I stood there holding this heavy basket for several minutes, not knowing where to place my items. At this point I still hadn't been acknowledged, greeted, or even received a hand motion to sit the basket down anywhere. The assistant manager, David I think, motioned for me to place the basket in front of his computer eventually and immediately began looking the items up, still not saying a word. I felt awkward and uncomfortable standing there so I began walking around the store looking at merchandise. After a few minutes he motioned for me to come back over and spoke, asking for my license. We completed our transaction without incident and I left the store. I was not thanked or wished a good day or to come back....nothing. I felt unwelcome in this store. I understand the pawn business is probably one of the most difficult places to work and I know how demanding and entitled people can be. But kindness is easier than coldness. You never know what kind of day someone is having and you could be the one to tip them over the edge or save the day. I won't be coming back to this location and recommend that anyone planning on visiting this location to come well over an hour before closing because even though the hours displayed read 6pm, the employees check out long before.
