Initially, I liked this daycare until I was disrespected by the assistant manager. She first interrupted me while I was speaking with another staff member and spoke to me in a condescending tone. She confronted me stating that I brought my dog more than the suggested time, however she was wrong!! This was something that she could have easily checked before even approaching me. After I confirmed that I in fact had only brought my pup once that week, her response was "oh". I started back talking to the initial staff member and she interrupted me a second time, again talking to me like I was a child. I calmed down and called to ask to speak to her superior. She intercepted the call, then and only then did she try to explain herself and offer an insincere apology. Her superior was supposed to contact me, however it's been almost 2 months and no one still has contacted me regardless. Needless to say, it worked out in favor!! My pup has not been back since and I found a newer and nicer facility with amazing staff that absolutely love my pup. They are much more friendly and inviting and because of that I feel 100% comfortable leaving my pup with them for any period of time. If they disrespect pet owners like this, there is no telling what they do to pups that cannot talk to tell you. Do not send your pet here!! Would not recommend!

My rat terrier absolutely enjoyed going to Barkmore in the country! He enjoyed the doggy daycare while he was boarding!! Thank you for taking care of our Harley while we were gone!!

They do great with my border collie / lab with daycare and boarding. Highly recommended, owners and staff are very friendly and helpful!

Took my dog to a competitor and she came back a nervous wreck! She seemed to love it here! Clean! Great staff! And my dog didn't come back with PTSD, so there's that.

I highly recommend the Barkmore. My Sweet Brown has stayed there multiple times and I feel like she is very well cared for and loved while I am away. The establishment is very new, clean, and it appears they have a lot of safety precautions in place.

We used them to board our dogs for the first time while on vacation. They were very pleasant and welcoming. My dogs seemed happy and not the least bit stressed out when we picked them up. Will definitely use them again.

They have rooms available for your pets $30+ & 40+ as far as I rememver buy I could be wrong. Basic room and a little fancy room with screen for your pet. But they stay busy so you might find a spot right away should call in advance before planing any trip that doesn't involve your fur babies sotheh could have a vacay of their own.

The first time we took her things were great and even had a bath and nails clipped. This time they said she would not let them bathe her and they didn't wantvto upset her. Problem is she had a strong urine smell and not sure why. We really like the place overall but disappointed this time.

Roxy & Buddy enjoy their stay when we go out of town, they are well taken care of. I have peace of mind, they always call if something comes up or they have a question about how they are fed etc. I feel secure they are in a safe environment and are having fun. I can relax and not worry about their safety. I always appreciate the care they receive from The Barkmore. The staff are wonderful and caring. Thanks, for the great care the receive at The Barkmore.
