Emma is hands down a life saver! I had a horrible experience at another salon and she was able to fix it (all over color didn’t take and turned a weird red)! Highlights, conditioning treatment and a special cut for my damaged ends made it look amazing. Love it! My daughters love her as well! Great
Stylist: Emma helped me understand what could be done for my hair and what had happened. She tested my hair first then worked me in the next day. She suggest the best options for hair health and I love it!

I am fairly new to Chapel Hill and wanting to support local businesses and find a stylist closer to home, so i asked for recommendations from neighbors and Southern Roots Salon was recommended. I called several times over the past few weeks and even emailed, with no response. I guess i should have taken the hint, but nope I called again today and someone actually answered! Wait, don't celebrate. I told them what I needed; cut, color and highlights, she "covered the phone" and asked if any of the stylist in the back ground were interested in a new client and they all basically said "nope". She went one by one asking and I heard one girl say "I'm out". Looks like Chapel Hill would be a good place to open a professional salon, because there really aren't any. sad.

Called @10am to verify that they take walk ins for a mens hair cut was told yes drove straight there and he was told it would be till 2 pm when they could do it. Thats called an appointment not a walk in
