This store sucks! They have severe inventory issues. If they spent as much time with keeping up with stock as they do on their deli, they would be alright. Deli is actually really good. The problem I have is when I go to buy fresh asparagus and there is none, just to find they wrapped it in bacon and put their label on it. And that example applies to many things in the store. There are a lot of empty spaces on the shelves. If I could take a picture of the bread area and post it I would. Personally I feel the store is just too small to keep up with the growth in Chapel Hill. Time to bring in Krogers or something like it.

I stopped shopping at Brooks because they wanted $40 for a vegetable tray with only four veggies and a container of ranch. It wasn't very big.Perhaps I will go back to see what other items might be of better value. However, it seems that they are taking advantage of this small town. They are the only grocery store in Chapel Hill.If the customer service had been exemplary, I would definitely shop there more often! However, it was only ok, nice folks but none of the associates were actively helping customers. Eagleville Grocery has better prices and a gas station that has the least expensive gas between Triune and Cornersville. My commute is Eagleville to Cornersville every day. Also, Eagleville Grocery has a butcher on site, and the Kroger in Lewisburg has a six vegetable tray with ranch for $10.

Best neighborhood grocery ever! The staff is always helpful and happy to help. The store is clean, and it's easy to find what I need and want, along with things I didn't know I needed.

Went to Brooks today, ordered some ham and this is what you get. Just piles of ham looking like it was thrown together. Tried making sandwiches for my wife and I and it just came apart in pieces. YOU may be the only game in town, but you need to teach your Deli people how to assemble YOUR PRODUCT. The days coming when there will be competition....

During a recent visit to Brooks Grocery, I was struck by the care and teamwork displayed by their staff. While in the checkout line, a man named Joseph casually inquired if I had found everything I needed. Realizing I had forgotten bread, I mentioned my oversight. Even before I could express my reluctance to leave the line, Joseph subtly signaled the bagger who walked over to listen. As I described the type of bread I was after, the bagger dashed off to retrieve it. Within moments, he was back, and they confirmed it was what I needed and quickly rang it up; afterwards he helped the bagger catch up, so not to delay others waiting. It's rare to witness such spontaneous teamwork and customer service these days. I was genuinely impressed by Brooks Grocery's customer ethics. And I let me add, I rarely take the time to leave a review, but I was so overwhelmed by this experience that I felt compelled. A big thank you to their dedicated team for going the extra mile.Wow Wow Wow.PLEASE COME TO COLUMBIA TN

Great store, clean, friendly employees. I love the deli year round with their selections. If you can't find something they always willing to try to see if can get it.

It's more than just a regular grocery store. They have smoked meats at a great price. The store is a little expensive but a great place to stop and get supper so you don't have to cook.

We feel really lucky to have a grocery store like this near us. They make so many dishes in house that we can do a mix and match of freshly prepared food or ingredients to make our own. Prices are a little higher than the chain stores but the service is above what you expect at those stores. Selection is limited being a small store but most of our favorites are there.

Drove 30 minutes to this store just because they had an interesting ad on facebook. Boy was I disappointed. Their meat prices were absolutely ridiculous. Over priced product and very limited selection. Was not worth the drive. Picked up a few things we needed/wanted, then drove to food lion to get our meat at a reasonable price.

They are way to expensive.. I only go there for WIC items except for fruit cuz that goes by dollar amount and I can't make it go far enough through the month at their store.. maybe I'm just to poor for this town cuz I work here instead of in Nashville or something..

Cheaper to drive to Murfreesboro or Franklin, that factors in the high cost of gas. A reason for the costs being so high because they are always overstaffed when I go in. Usually 3 or 4 employees per customer and standing around! Meat selection is substandard and overpriced, milk goes bad within a day or two, I'm afraid to try the deli and pre-prepared meals because of this! They can charge whatever they want since they are the only grocery store in town. If I have a need for 1 or 2 things, I go to the new DG, always cheaper.
