They sell Microsoft gift cards and it doesn’t talk to their register system. They have no one but a manger that can do an exchange. They expect you to come back when the manager is on staff to even get your money back or an exchange card. They don’t understand by looking at the receipt is was not authorized yet, again no one can do anything about it. My son spent his money on two cards, and yet they say they can’t do anything about it. Wanda, maybe you should make sure your key holder is available on shift when you are not there to take care of such issues. Also, Wanda, terrible customer service to ask them to come back on your schedule. You should at least ask when the customer can come back and that’s how you take care of the customer. Set a better expectation!

Idk what the other lading is griping about, but this place is great, great service, very helpful, very clean. This is the only dollar general I'll ever shop at. And I also think the new manager is way better than the last one who ran the place. I stopped coming here for a long time because of terrible service. But I was in a hurry one day and had to stop in and it was a totally different atmosphere. I love it!! Please go in and see for yourself. Don't listen to bad reviews, please go in and just see it for yourself. You won't be disappointed ?

The employees do not want to be there nor do they want to interact with customers at all. One employee saw a line of 4 customers and no cashier and went back to stocking shelves. I got snarky rude answers from 2 employees in the same trip. I wasn't rude just asked about where the cashier was. I won't be back to this one. Don't do a job that involves customers if you can't at least fake a decent attitude.

the store on Jackson Rd in Griffin Georgia is awesome! the manager’s and cashier’s are very friendly and willing to help without a nasty attitude!! The store is clean and stocked as well!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The entire staff quit due to poor management maybe they should look into their leaders what a shame it’s hard enough to find people who want to work and they get treated like this DG do better !!!

Closes 15-20 minutes early every night it seems. Don’t believe their signs and online hours they have posted, saying they close at 9pm. They always close way earlier for some reason? Take your business somewhere else at night.

In today's climate where young people don't want to work, I can understand some problems in the business arena. With that said, for several months now, when I stop at this particular Dollar Store, items are marked with one price, and they ring up with another higher price. I ALWAYS check my receipt before leaving the parking lot if I hadn't caught errors during the ringing up of the items. I ALWAYS have to go back in and get money refunded!!! Today I called the store and spoke with the manager, after stopping for a $1.25 loaf of bread that rang up as $1.59, who turned out to be a new manager of one month. She was very nice and apologetic and explained that she inherited a store where the previous manager put little effort into changing prices. After speaking my mind and listening to her, I decided to give this store the benefit of the doubt. She said she had almost 1100 pages of price changes she was trying to get through. I also let her know that the clerk said that she couldn't void the error and that I had to "yell at the vendor because it was his price, not the store price". UGH!!!! What ever happened to pride in one's job???? Again, the manager, Teresa, was very kind and apologetic and said she was trying her hardest to get the prices updated. I believe her.

I'm sorry Dollar general but y'all are going downhill on 41A by cedar Hill. Y'all ain't never open y'all are very inconvenient. Y'all just need to move out so somebody that's worth a darn to stay open that I can shop at get out of town
