The lodge is beautiful on the outside as is the surrounding state park, six out of five stars there. The king room was clean, adequate, had a mostly private balcony overlooking the lake.

The new lodge is absolutely beautiful. I haven't stayed in a room there, but ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits!! I will be going back just to get that dish. Everyone we encountered that worked at the resort was friendly and the service in the restaurant was excellent!

Most beautiful state park! Fantastic lodge with a view over the lake!The food in the restaurant is just okay. But the cabin was fantastic! Well equipped and comfortable!Be sure to visit Paris while you’re here. And the antique shops!

Great place to visit. Beautiful park, picnic area, playground and swimming area. They do have restrooms. I haven't been in the new hotel yet but I have been told it is very nice. The marina nearby makes it a great place. Oh almost forgot the campground and a few cabins. If you get that way you should stop and check it out.

Stayed only at the marina. Huge boats here. Reservations are first come first serve. Call on channel 16 when you are near. They should note that on the website. The USCG is here too.

Tranquility and an awesome escape to a piece of modern amenities mixed with nostalgic sentiments! Worth the distance and a wide array of accommodations to suit intimate, small or big events. Scenery true to the foundation of Americana, GORGEOUS and private areas to come together or escape the hustle and bustle of the busy life. A place to come back to because you will never experience all it has to offer on just one trip!!! Clean facilities, friendly staff and a gem to discover for all who have never been!

Beautiful place to stay. Calm and peaceful even when it's crowded. Right on the Tennessee River/Kentucky Lake. Lots of birds and waterfowl to see. Staff at the lodge are friendly and welcoming. They have a bar and will stay open past closing time if it's crowded. The restaurant has delicious food and easily accommodated me being vegetarian.The rooms are nice and clean and decorated nicely. Nice sitting on the balcony overlooking the lake.

The Campground was clean but had a few unexpected things. 1st, the bath house at the bottom of the hill was out of order for remodeling, there's no sewer hook ups so the non use made it very inconvenient. 2nd our campsites were not level in relationship to camper pad and real small. 3rd, the road in between the campsites is very narrow and difficult to park camper when adjoining neighbors or across neighbors vehicles are parked. 4th, the campsites are noisy from nearby busy roadway. Was within 40 feet of campsites.

We rented a Deluxe Cabin for a family vacation and were very impressed. The kitchen was adequately furnished with all the items we needed to make a full meal. Only issue we had was the outdoor grill was quite rusty. It could use a little more light in the living room. Beds were comfortable, rooms spacious. The place was very clean. There was room off street to park our small speed boat and truck. Some disposables were provided: toilet paper, tissues, dish soap and garbage bags. We are definitely coming back.

This was an awesome visit! The hotel, staff, and rooms were excellent. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because their breakfast did not include a meat of any type.

We try to go atleast 2 times a year to paris. We love the water and fishing. The part where you swim is about 6ft deep and less
