I frequent this Food City because it is close to my house. I typically love this Food City, it is clean and the people are nice. How ever today I witnessed someone who was dressed as a manager get aggravated vocally in front of customers about how isles were not set up right. I had a cashier tell me I couldn’t use the self check out because of how many items I had. Yes I had more than 15, but it was a small cart and I was only over by about ten items. Also there was NO ONE else in line. No one actively seeking to check out anywhere. I find it ridiculous I was made to move lines after already starting my check out procedure because I had few items more when there was no one else using it. Not to mention there was only one lane open and someone was already checking out there. Tell me what sense that makes Food City.

Virginia Avenue Food City is my favorite in this area. (Of course the location in Abingdon which houses a bar & encourages customers to sip cocktails while shopping is the BEST, but...) The staff is always friendly & helpful. Management is accessible & always strives to resolve customer issues quickly & fairly. Food is fresh & usually well stocked. I definitely recommend this location to others.

Really clean store, seemed to have the shelves stocked up, prices on some products seem to cost more than at other stores. But it's expected.
