“After researching Nashville transmission shops, I brought in an older Honda Ridgeline with a slow transmission fluid leak. I appreciate the friendly and straightforward way that these folks do business. They sincerely listened to my concerns and didn't treat the situation as an opportunity to soak the customer with labor hours and parts. Their diagnosis and recommendations were welcome in an industry that has a lot of questionable actors. It's good to find a shop that proves to be trustworthy with competent techs. You can tell that Bass Ewing is a family business that works to maintain a hard earned reputation.”
“I rarely leave reviews. We were traveling from Ohio to Louisiana, and our 2500 hd diesel truck broke down, complex wiring problem with the fuse box. Wasn’t going to be easy. Chris got us in, and completed the work on our schedule, not theirs, price was reasonable, and Treated me like I was an every day customer. I pulled into their parking lot and the minute I stepped foot into the building I felt like I've known them for years. The diagnostic, estimate, and pricing were extremely fair. “I was traveling through Nashville when I got a coolant leak and took my cruze to larrys.. he was able to stop the leak but once I made it to knoxville my water pump went out.. pep boys changed that out for me but they had also told me I had a cracked valve cover. Once I returned back to my home state I called Larry and he said he would pay to get it replaced no problem which was awesome! I took it into a shop in my hometown they checked everything to find out if I actually did have a cracked valve cover. According to them I do not so I did not need to replace it but the fact that Larry was willing to foot the bill and admit it could've been his misdoing should say enough about what an honest mechanic he is! Definitely recommend!”

The only negative take away from this experience was when I went to checkout the older gentleman was very rude and could have been a bit more polite. That's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. “My Aunt led me to this place.. said they were the best in town and they did not let down. I called and told them what I thought was wrong , they gave me an around price for if that was the problem. When they got my car , upon inspection they seen it was on the back instead of the front which made it even cheaper then what they quoted at first . I’m very happy with the work they done. They were Honest , and fast. My Car was finished the next day and that’s only because i didn’t get my car there until they were closing the day before. I won’t go any where else now.
