My psychiatrist called in a prescription 8 days ago for me to pick up before my trip to the UK. I was told on Wednesday by someone at this pharmacy that I couldn't pick it up until Thursday. It's Saturday. My flight leaves in 6 hours and they are refusing to fill my prescription. I will be without my medication that I need while traveling internationally because Wafeek refused to do his job. He was also very rude and condescending to me while I was trying to get him or anyone there to fill my prescription.

This pharmacy's legit. They're fast and accurate. Customer service is great, too!

I had such a better experience here than at the Walgreens across the street, that I transferred all of my prescriptions here for them to handle. The staff here took my information and ordered a not-so-easy to get medication for me. It did take a few days, but that's true everywhere. Walgreens told me: A) I needed to pay $400 more than the prescription cost here B) that it was ILLEGAL to use my cost savings card from the manufacturer (!) and c) that if I didn't want to pay that for the med, there were ample numbers of people who would take it. Publix's staff are laid back, helpful, and know how to use their IT system, which I'm sure with all of the layers in the supply chain is not simple. I was very happy with this location's pharmacy!

I called to see if the pharmacy could fill an antiseizure medicine for my dog because it runs out on Wednesday this week and we will be knee deep in a snow storm at that time. The pharmacy manager made it a point to go out of her way to tell me, as rudely as possible, that she can not and will not fill that medicine for my pet even if it is life or death when he runs out. I went on to explain that our normal pharmacy is closed today which I didn’t know beforehand otherwise I would've picked up the medicine yesterday. This woman at Publix is either so calloused or simply so bitter that she can not use basic methods of communication, human emotion and empathy to relay her regret in being unable to assist. Instead she very curtly and snootily denies my plea, and seems to enjoy it. The limited power she thinks she has definitely went to her head. Shameful. Dear Publix Pharmacy Manager, if you’re reading this: do better.

Put in a request for a migraine prevention medication on Monday. It’s now Wednesday and it’s still not filled and I’ve had 2 migraines since not having the correct medication to take. It takes over 10 minutes for them to answer a call. My doctor says it takes them up to half an hour to get a call answered. It’s unprofessional, not ethical to make a patient wait for a prescription if they know it takes that long to fill. I would highly not recommend them. It’s become intolerable in the last 6 months.

Publix pharmacy is dumb. Stay away. The silly part first. My wife stood inline… turned out she was a foot or two out of line… but the pharmacist acknowledged that she knew my wife was next in-line but because she was slightly off to the side she would be helped after the person that came in after my wife did. Some childish kindergartner stuff. Doesn’t really matter. It’s the principle and “drill-sergeant” of it, and what happened a couple days later that is not alright about the situation. The pharmacist didn’t bother to tell my wife that she gave a different medicine than requested and we realized it a couple of days later. The pharmacist assured us that the drug was exactly the same as the one we were supposed to get. Just a different name. (Multiple generic substitutes are available for the name brand). My wife took the medicine and got an extremely bad headache. I called another pharmacist at another pharmacy and explained what we were told. Turns out the Publix pharmacist lied or is clueless. We won’t be putting our well-being in their hands. They refuse to make it right. I will be reporting this to our insurance compliance department. We were thinking to switch to Publix for 20 miles of convenience. But that won’t be happening! Publix should probably stick with selling cakes and greasy chicken nuggets.

They have become terrible, if someone has to take medication on a daily schedule, it takes them 3-5 days to fill it but if you try to call in a refill a couple of days ahead of the refill date they will not accept it. I have been without medication for up to 5 days. They need to stop taking new patients if they can’t accommodate or are short staffed, I have not seeing them short staffed in a while there is always up to 6 employees there. I honestly don’t know what it is but I am going to CVS!!My last wait of 3 days to fill my medication I have gotten sick to my stomach, it may be convenient since I do shop with publix but its not worth getting sick over.

Our pediatrician called in a script to this pharmacy which is a medicine that I don't want my kids taking. (Tamiflu) There was a mis-communication between myself and the pediatrician. I was under the impression that an antibiotic of some type was being called in. Both of my kids have the flu and wife is the one who picked up the script yesterday. She was unaware of what she was picking up other than it was medicine for both kids. I called the pharmacy today explaining the situation and was looking to return this script as we will not use it because it causes hallucinations and vomiting. The pharmacist who I spoke with would not allow a simple return because he said they would be at a loss. Publix Supermarkets would lose $30. 30 dollars.... Here is the issue. I picked up the wrong script at this same location exactly 1 month ago and they guy took it back and was able to refund my card without any hesitation or issue.. This Publix cares more about $30 than their customers. Make it make sense...

Visited this Publix this evening. Two of the self check outs were opened so my wife and I approached the nearest one. At that moment, the young lady managing the self checkout area stormed up to us saying can't you see I've got things going on here (at that specific self checkout machine)! And to be clear, no, we couldn't see she had "something going on" since it was open and available and the green light was on. She was clearly exasperated and angry. She proceeded to curse at us. My wife and I had no idea what was going on so we quietly moved to the next self checkout. I can understand getting angry at work, but to lose control and lash out at customers like that is way out of bounds.

Marena Samer is not professional and always seemed unhappy to answer questions. I went there to try to transfer a prescription from another pharmacy because I found Publix has a better Good-Rx price. She responded with a cold tone and face telling me I needed to go back to my current Pharmacy to let them call her. I did prescription transfers before and they just needed the prescription and the pharmacy name then I was all set. So, I simply went to another Publix pharmacy and sure enough, I was politely treated and the staff just wrote down the info about the prescription and the store phone number. The next day my prescription was transferred. I will never deal with Publix Pharmacy at Concord Village coz I am tired of seeing her.
