“I have been using this Post Office for years - I even have a box there. I ship a lot of Ebay stuff, not using the Ebay labels but using regular USPS shipping. Although this particular location is sometimes short on staff with usually only one station open (and sometimes they have to close at lunchtime, which is inconvenient), I have found everyone there friendly and helpful. I suspect that most of the people that complain about rudeness come in with their own bad attitude, because I'm always polite and respectful to the staff and they are always friendly and polite to me. Most of the delays I experience while standing in line are because of people that do not understand that you should come to the post office prepared - they come in with an item to ship: no mailer or box, no tape, nothing to write with, etc. I have seen other problems, like undelivered mail, change of address, etc. - and the staff have always tried to resolve the problem for the customer in a professional and courteous manner, even when the person with the problem can't even clearly DESCRIBE what their problem is. I have had 2 or 3 delivery or shipping issues over the years and the staff have always resolved every issue to my satisfaction with action or information. These people work hard and they are at the mercy of any jerk or know-nothing that walks through the door, so cut them some slack. You get what you give: come prepared and demonstrate the proper respectful attitude to the staff and you will walk out satisfied with the service these people provide.”
“Best Post Office in the state! Seriously, no joke. Very glad they reopened and it is an absolute pleasure going here (especially compared with going to the other one… if you know you know). Awesome staff and very quick service.”
“I had the friendliest associate (clerk 35 on my receipt) assist me with a money order and mailing a passport renewal. She’s probably the nicest person that I’ve ever met working at a post office. You can tell she enjoyed her job and took pride in assisting the public. Thank you so much for your help!”
“The staff at this location are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. I was dreading going to the post office because of experiences at other locations, but this USPS office is one of the best customer experiences of any kind that I’ve had in a while. While I was there, I observed staff be very patient and kind with an irrationally irritated customer, and provide amazing service to everyone. Thank you to Destiny and the team for helping me today! Much appreciated, and I’ll definitely be back when I need to ship more items.”

810 Oak Meadow Dr, Franklin“My wife and I just moved to Franklin. A couple weekends ago, we went to the post office to see if our address change had been processed. It had been a couple weeks since we filled out our address change, but we still weren't receiving mail. This was during the snowstorm that Tennessee was hit with, and their post office was beyond busy on this particular Saturday. After waiting patiently in line, we went to the counter and dealt with the guy working. He was ok. He seemed a little annoyed given the amount of people in line, and the constant questioning of whether people could pick up their mail. Understandable, I guess. He tried to help us, but the lady next to him, Kelly, told him that she would be able to help us.After we waited for the person Kelly was helping to finish up, we went to Kelly's counter. And let me just say that Kelly is the textbook definition of GREAT customer service! Despite being insanely busy, Kelly had a smile on her face the whole time and made it known that she was ready and happy to help us. She took our information and went to the back to look up the status of our address change. When she came back to the front, she had the exact date that it was started, and the status update of when it would be completed. When I told Kelly that it was odd that we hadn't received mail yet because it had already been 2 weeks, and the post office back home had told us it would take 3-5 days, Kelly was quick to inform me that 3-5 days was the old system, and it now takes 2-3 weeks to complete. Mix that with the weather that was going on, and things would possibly be delayed a little longer.I am happy to report that Kelly was absolutely right, and we are finally starting to receive our mail.I am so thankful to have had the pleasure of dealing with Kelly. She is very friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and just ready and willing to help as much as she can. Great Job Kelly!”
“I own a small business and we ship frequently at USPS. First time at this location and I'll definitely be back. Kim was very helpful making sure our 100+ packages were dropped off safely. Thanks for a great experience!”
“This is one of the smaller USPS locations in Nashville. This Christmas I was running behind on shopping and one Saturday I rushed to get a Card to my loved ones before it closed. Upon arrival I realized the holiday rush had already hit. I was in a hurry, and had an Uber waiting on me, so I tried the self-service kiosk, but it was out of order. I started to walk for the door, thinking I'd just have to do it the following Monday morning. Before leaving, I heard a voice behind me. "Is it not working?" And there was a sweet woman there with a stack of Christmas cards ready to mail out.I explained it wasn't, and with the line being so long I'd have to come back as I forgot my stamps at home. The woman kindly offered me the last of her four stamps so I could mail out the card, and it arrived before Christmas! I am so excited that there are genuinely sweet people like this out there in the world, and that I meet them at the US Post Office.”
“This USPS is located at the fork where Harding Pike and Highway 100 meet and for the most part is your average Post Office location. It features all the standards such as PO Boxes, shipping stations, packing and shipping supplies for purchase and counters where you can be assisted through it all. Additionally, you get that same ole USPS-Annoyed customer service you are accustomed to! I stopped by to mail off graduation invitations for my nephew and my experience was a wild ride from the counter person being annoyed at the start to them offering to place the stamps on the envelopes and taking care of for me. I originally was thinking of mailing priority for all, but after pricing I decided that was not gonna work. The associate then gave me the run down of my options and when it was decided I would just mail them standard she rang me up and handed me my envelopes and the stamps. Then quickly told me that she could do it for me if I wanted, which I obliged. As with most USPS locations, they are not in the best of condition. This location certainly follows suit with that. Overall, this location did exactly what I needed it to do. I was able to walk in and out, while getting items mailed, all within 5 minutes.”
“After reading the reviews, especially lots negative reviews, I really appreciate the informative parts. However, as a federal facility, there is very limited efforts for staffs to change any of those situations, especially passport issues. I witnessed today from 7:30-8:30 that the staff had to repeatedly explain to people who were not happy or had attitude to her. She had her the best patience and tried her best to be professional and respectful. Unfortunately, some customers were angry about the limit service about passports with attitude or verbally being rude. I can totally understand if she has attitude too. Fortunately, she didn’t lose her calmness and actually help people to make an appointment on ‘self-service’ system. We need to give her applauses and be nice and more understanding. Yes, I was there 4:30am this morning. Pancake pantry’s breakfast was a reward to myself. lol”
“I don’t know if this is the correct post office (the one that delivers to Lenox village) or if it will reach the intended person. I just want to write this, in case you read it.
I had intended to be home today to accept some flowers I had ordered. I was afraid the plants would die if they were left to roast in the sun- so I left a note and asked if he or she could put them in the shade under the stairs. I hoped the person delivering them would see it. They did! I came home to see them tucked away in the shade, safe.
I want to say thank you. Your act of kindness truly means a lot to me.”
“I’ve had a lot of negative experiences at post offices in the last few years but had a great interaction at this one! Went in to mail a 401k rollover I’ve been stressing about and there was confusion about a PO box vs Lockbox that the clerk was super helpful with even made absolutely sure with her manager the address was correct. Really appreciate the help and will make this my go to destination moving forward!”
“First time visit. Not sure what to expect due to the posted reviews. Comparing my past USPS visits across the country, this was a good experience. There were a few customers in front of me but the line moved quickly...around 4 pm. There was only one USPS clerk at the front desk but I found her friendly and customer focused.”
“I came in to grab my keys for a new po box, and just happened to walk in as half of Nashville decided to also stop by.. The lobby got super crowded really quickly, and the only worker there at the moment named Mark handled it all super professionally. He was helping 2 &/or 3 customers at a time, dealing with people's mistakes and helping people correct issues with their orders all with a super positive and friendly attitude. I was blown away by how good he was at his job, but also just how great his attitude was during a highly stressful and annoying situation. This man deserves a promotion/raise, he's a crusher”
“I have no idea why the rating of this post office is so low! Miss Wendy at the service desk was an absolute joy to work with and her coworkers enjoy her as well! This rating needs to be higher!”
“Shoutout to Lovie, Javon, and another clerk (whos name i unfortunately did not get) for helping locate my package. I was hurriedly going out of town and needed to have it before I left. They were all incredibly helpful and worked together to help me out. Could not have asked for better service with USPS !!”
“This is the only post office in the area that is nice, friendly and has never lost one of my packages. Don’t listen to the bad reviews - some people are just cranky.”
