My gf and I walked in today and wanted to adopt one of their rats. The female employee refused to sell us a rat bc “They didn’t have the supplies to adopt one” but everything she named we would need we found in the store. Why have pets in a pet store that require supplies they don’t even carry? She also refused to allow us to hold one unless we made the decision to adopt it without even holding it. It’s ridiculous! Will never come back to this store

Proceed with caution if using this Petco grooming salon. The vet I work for recently treated a pet that was wounded so bad she had to be sedated in order to perform treatment. It cost the client almost $400.The grooming manager Brooke and GM Stormy called my place of work three times, days later, to bully and harass me into issuing a refund on PETCO'S behalf so they wouldn't have to deal with it and take responsibility for THEIR actions. It was their responsibility to reimburse the client for their mistake and they refused to handle it with her directly. I've been in vet med for 5 years and never had a situation like this before. Very bizarre, disappointing and just plain unprofessional!

Will not return to this store until Brooke leaves. She runs off all the good groomers. Been a customer there since it opened and this is the worst treatment we have ever had. Several others we know say the same. Sad!

Brooke has trimmed my furbabys nails multiple times. She's welcoming and super positive, and acts like she actually wants to help you, and your pet. Love this. I actually mentioned this to her today, and that I appreciated her attitude. Plus. She does a very good job!

The employees here are super rude. We have been coming in for a years and the last year has just gotten awful. You can hardly find any employees on the floor and when you do they act annoyed that they have to answer questions or do their job. They also lied to us about vital care and now we are stuck paying for something we don’t use & they refuse to cancel it for a year. I’ve spoken to the team in store and vital care and they won’t do anything about it. We’ve tried to give chances but after a full year of disappointment, we will make an extra drive to go elsewhere from now on.

I got my dog Boulder groomed with Lilly P and they were OUTSTANDING! So professional and did such a stellar job on his coat. He looks great and we will for sure be back :)

I went in to buy Merrick’s puppy food and the brand is really pricey. The manager walked out as I was checking out and told me she had 3 bags on sale! Thank goodness! I got 3 bags of dog food for the price of one! Both the manager and cashier had the best customer service which is hard to come by nowadays! I would like to thank both of them for saving me money and being so attentive and nice! Purchased on 9/20/23 @ 6:10 pm

My shih tzu had an appointment with BROOKE T. Upon picking him up from his appointment, she informed us that Petco can no longer see my dog due to “aggressive behavior”. My dog came back from his appointment traumatized, trembling, and shaking. He had clumps of soap left in his hair that she had not washed out. Please be careful bringing your dog to this location.

Groomer refused to take my dog who is on a veterinary prescription for Trazadone or ANY other calming agent - said, "It's against store policy."No signs in store or website that states such!My 14lb dog was slightly hyper from the 25min car drive - no signs of aggressive behavior, etc.Called '800' number and was informed if I had proof from the vet that it's ok to groom my dog, I shouldn't be refused - I had the document, was not asked for it, but told I need a need to get a personal groomer for him. NEVER had this issue at any other Petco or PetSmart.Perhaps Petco should stop hiring ignorant, lazy young people; pretty sure I'm not the only person who has an anxious dog!Needless to say, I filed a complaint on this place to headquarters.Editing post "Owner's response: If you reread my post, it has NOTHING to do with the appointment being canceled. Show proof of this "policy" your employee dictated.
