“Krystal Romo of Smokey Mountain Tops was fully engaged with me when I approached her with our project and instantly understood my inspiration and vision for our last phase of our yard makeover, the grill station. Everything to this point had been driven by the aesthetic of the Whiskey Fungus that grows on the rickhouses and trees from the “Angel’s Share” ethanol vapors emitted from the bourbon distilleries of Kentucky. This striated blackish growth creates a unique appearance that lets you know that you have arrived somewhere special, steeped in our uniquely American bourbon history. I had done my homework and knew that to achieve this same sense of place at our home would require a show-stopping statement piece to pull it all together. This would be the 4’ tall and 11’ wide heat shield leathered Galapagos quartzite backsplash behind the grill station, framed in new American oak barrel staves and raw steel barrel hoops, emulating the rickhouse walls and its whiskey barrels aging gracefully within. The leathered Negresco granite countertops would carry the theme further, with their dark charcoal color and contrasting veining. Krystal made this happen and set the distillation in motion to procure the stone needed to age this space to perfection. The fabricators took it the rest of the way. The on-site laser measuring took 4.5 hours of tedious attention to detail to ensure the intricate cuts be just right. Ten installers showed up on the day of installation and lifted the nearly 1/2 ton single slab into its perfect place. Everything was in place in time to celebrate Independence Day with our extended family. Smokey Mountain Tops made this happen for us! BRAVO! ??”

“The Tile Shop has a large selection of tiles from very high end, to affordable. We are shopping for tile for a bathroom project, and they had several styles that will likely work for us.
The staff was the “Goldilocks” of helpful…they are approachable when you need them with all the answers, but they’re not in your face trying to sell you.
The product is arranged so it’s easy to view. And the bathroom and kitchen mockups are really helpful to help envision how certain tiles will work together.
It’s a large store with plenty of room to walk around, and plenty of parking.”

“We recently completed a complete kitchen renovation and French's Cabinet Gallery provided the cabinets and the design. Our designer, Kym, was fantastic. She listened to what we wanted to do and showed us how to make it work with our space and all of their cabinet options. She provided excellent feedback and insight and worked with us to until we were sure we were getting a cabinet system that would provide what we were looking for. Communication was excellent through out the process.
When it came time to deliver and install the cabinets, the installer Roger was fantastic. We had many different trades in and out through out the remodel process, but Roger was amongst the most professional and skilled of all of them. He made sure the cabinets fit into our remodel seamlessly and cleanly. He showed extreme attention to detail and care for all the finished surfaces in our space.
The cabinets themselves are high quality and the finish is durable. We have so much more usable space with the pull out cabinet drawers vs our previous lower cabinet shelves. The frameless cabinets (wynbrooke) provide so much clearance for the drawers compared to full-frame cabinet fronts that can reduce the usable space.
Any issues we came across were quickly addressed by Kym, Roger, and the rest of the team at French's. We look forward to working with them on future projects through out our home.
