Honesty doesn't pay with Kirklands. I ordered a lamp and received two, but only paid for one. I called to let them know. They proceeded to tell me that it would be my responsibility in getting the lamp back or I would be charged for it. They said they would send me a code and I would have to either take to Kirklands near me or a FedEx drop off or call FedEx to come pick it up. I have to do this for THERE mistake. Hobby Lobby you will be getting all of my business from now on. Honesty doesn't pay with Kirklands. Dissatisfied customer.

I called Kirklands corporate office and spoke to Susan who told me she was supervisor about a online order which was just a candle for 9.38. They cancelled my order bc it was out of stock but it still charged my account which i explained that to her. She said it did not show that on her end so nothing she could do. I told her i would send my bank statement showing and she said no. So no refund and no candle really. When i asked to speak with someone higher then her and what her name was she hung up on me. So i called back got her name and told her how rude it was to hang up on someone she didnt care and sent me to voicemail. Wow we shop at kirklands all the time but i wont be going back if this is how they treat customers over nine dollars. And Susan in my opinion should not be a supervisor how do u hang up on a customer.

Even the corporate office needs to go through a detailed customer service training…just HORRIBLE customer service. Really, if you can shop elsewhere, I would. This brand is not what it used to be. Keep your hard earned money in your pocket and share it with companies that give a hoot.

Does the "bait and switch" with their coupons! Tells you you can get 15% off up front than tells you later all the fine print about what's not eligible!

I wouldn't recommend this location. I walked in the store while it was empty, knew what I came for and asked the nice lady at the counter for 4 chairs that I knew they had in stock. She confirmed that they had the chairs. The store began to get busier and the store manager forced the cashier to ring people up instead of grabbing the chairs. Now the line is super long. I am waiting patiently while watching several customers get rung up. 20 minutes later, I’ve lost my patience because I have other errands to run. This was not the fault of the cashier but the manager. This is not the first time she has done this as I shop here often, but this will be the last time I shop at the location. Her poor attitude and uninviting service is the worse! This is disappointing for any customer but especially for a local who regularly shops here.

I am trying to UNSUBSCRIBE from Kirkland’s annoying and incessant advertising emails. It seems an impossible task, so I will have to contact their CEO direct.I am sure what they are doing is illegal

Visited Kirkland's today in Newark, Delaware to pick up an accent table. When he brought it out from the back, I noticed it was peeling and appeared to be contact paper over foam board. Very poor quality and at a price of $149. I think you need to be aware of this.In addition, the employees are not very personable anytime I have been in there.

My husband and myself went into Mall Park center in Elizabethtown KY last night to do a little shopping . There was a particular item I had been trying to purchase online but it had been sold out for quite sometime . I noticed the item was in the store so I had my husband get one down for us … I had a coupon for a buy online pick up in store for 30% off that expires on 12/31 . But when I went to try to purchase the item online for in-store pick up .. it stated items were not available . (But there were because the store had about 5 of the items .) So I went to address the associates working .. was directed to a certain individual (Casey) in the store and was told .. she can straighten this out for you .I waited very patiently as this employee was on the phone doing a credit card application . Once she finished with the other customer I explained the situation .. she had me pull up my email I showed her the coupon and she said I don’t believe this is valid any longer .. even though I showed the expiration date of 12/31 .. she had me pull out my email a couple more times… explaining over and over rudely .. just because it has that date on it doesn’t mean it’s valid . I waited .. so I asked her I am trying to purchase an item however it says there not available.. but clearly there are several in your store .. is there anything she could do to honor my coupon ? She rudely told me usually no .. but I’m going to do it this time but not to ask again … excuse me I stated. Clearly there is an inventory issue … I would gladly order the item myself and use my coupon and pick up in store but clearly something is wrong with your inventory situation if it states you have zero availability but there are 5 in the store . She was extremely rude raising her voice and making sure I heard her and that not to ask again in the future . This lady is not customer friendly … I have shopped that store in particular several times and she has never been friendly… she always seems so bothered by customers . Well I will find another store to shop at for my home … as I will not step foot in that store again . If she is a manager I feel sorry for the employees and customers … cause she has zero level of leadership and manners .

This Sanford, Fl. store has a different manager now. Her name is Jessica. She is a very rude and disconnected person. Although some of the items in this store are nice, the management is the worse. Many Kirkland stores have gone out of business. This one will too if they don't get better management!!!

I bought a distressed entry way table. I knew it would have a distressed look and almost impossible to return if I didn’t like it (since I ordered it online). What I did not expect was one of the door panels to be pieced together with an 1/8” gap between the two pieces that you can see daylight through. I called to see if I could get replacement doors and they said not possible. I asked for a refund and they said to follow their normal refund policy - which would mean shipping it back in the box it came in (however, that box was destroyed trying to get it out when we received it - multiple staples that would not come out, etc.) It is also impossible for us to lift and get it to a shipping location. Learned my lesson about online furniture purchases. BUYER BEWARE - Kirklands ships stuff off the boat it comes in on straight from China to you. There appears to be NO QUALITY CONTROL of any kind. Terribly disappointed in them and their lack of customer service.
