“I came to Nina for my wedding dress alterations. I knew I could trust her as soon as we first met in her shop. She did an amazing job changing out the short sleeves of my dress to long sleeves with a yard of extra fabric I got from the designer. Other seamstresses said they needed more fabric, but Nina said it’d be easy! One week she had the prototype sleeves made with my extra lining, made notes for adjustments, and soon after, she had it all done! The sleeves were exactly what I envisioned and were so comfortable to be in. She also hemmed a few inches off and added a bustle, which held up with my heavy train. In the end she gave me a bag with all the scraps. Now I’m planning on making something for my future children with all that was leftover. Thank you Nina! You have an incredible talent!”
“Absolutely great experience. Yun was very kind, and listened attentively to what I needed for my bridesmaid dress. The dress was built for someone 5’10 and she resized multiple parts of the dress to fit me perfectly! Bottom hem, zipper, neck tie fix, and moved center line of dress up to the right place on my waist. At the wedding, I was told my dress was stunning multiple times. Couldn’t be more grateful for them helping get me in a dress I didn’t love and turn it into one I really loved for my sister’s wedding day. Thanks again Yun and team at Brentwood Alterations!”

“Fabulous selection on long formal gowns as well as cocktail dresses! Went in for 1 thing and came out with 3! I am over 60 years old and the styles they carried were age appropriate but NOT frumpy. Found my one stop shop for evening wear. Karen was great. She was honest with her opinion on how I looked in whatever I was trying on. I just discovered this shop however B. Hughes has been around the area for years. New location is beautiful.”

The hours are inconvenient for working people who don't live in the area.The Dennis brand (not this location) has made shopping difficult this school year with variations in sizing and extended backorder times. We drove an hour to purchase the only two skirts available that fit. There is similar (or less) availability on the website with unacceptable wait times for shipping.”
