Went for an initial appt on Jan 4. The office looked halfway thrown together, after the initial consult, I was told they needed to get a pre authorization from my insurance, 3 weeks later I had to follow up with them, and that's when they wanted to reach out and follow-up with the insurance. Highly unprofessional in my opinion that their clients have to basically babysit them to do their jobs. I will be finding a different specialist.

BEWARE! This office has terrible customer service and follow up. I have been a patient since February, 2023 and have had to follow up with them every time I have a new test or appointment. They take weeks to get back to you and do not provide status of your account. Both my husband and I had at home sleep studies, the machines were old and did not work. We had to contact them over and over to get a new test done. Once you do get a diagnosis, it takes another 4 weeks to get confirmation if your insurance will cover anything, and then they don't tell you what the outcome is. Once they do order any equipment for you, it takes another 6 weeks to 6 months to get the equipment that the doctor tells you you need ASAP. The whole experience was frustrating and then they just tell you to go another doctor if you are not happy. I would not recommend this office, there are other offices in the area that most likely provide better service and care.

The employee on the phone Beth is very rude, not willing to try and help with your needs at all. My brother had a sleep study done there 1 1/2 years ago. His Resmid 10 started leaking. He called and they gave him a number of a company in Florida. They would not give him a replacement or a loaner even this it was still under warranty. They instructed him to do as the repair company advised him. He had to send the machine to the company at his own expense, again no new machine or loaner. He would call and check and after 10 weeks, I called and spoke with Beth at the sleep center . Beth informed that the company had gone out of business. I asked what about his machine and she said not our problem we aren't responsible. After calling several times her response being the same she angrily said I will call you back tomorrow, we are in clinic and I am busy. After my brother called his insurance company they told him he would have to come in to the office. I talked with the Ins company also and told him they are just wanting money and a new sleep study. Since my brother has been without his C-pap he's had 23 wrecks , not allowed to drive or go back to work since October. The sleep center didn't care & it was 40 miles away. Cigna told me sleep study's are good for 10 yrs. So finally I took him to a sleep Dr here in town and we sent a release for his records to be sent to her and she can order him a machine. Been a week and still has not been sent . I have to say working in the medical field for years this is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever dealt with. I will not ever deal with this company. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Find another place to have your sleep study done if at all possible. They had to reschedule us last minute, then the technician was late when we came for the next appointment - there is no after-hours number, no one calls you if they arent there - we were about to leave (again) when the tech pulled up. The rooms are original - looks like a 1999 Motel 6. Walls are all beat up, bathroom is worse than a hospital. Everything is dirty. Recliner in the room was broken. The sleep monitoring equipment looks to be an original invention. Our technician was nice, but I would not say she really had any experience with a "pediatric patient" (our 4 year old) and didn't fully appreciate why he was having trouble having tons of wire and stuff put all over his face so quickly. She never came in once all night to check on us, even though I kept waking up and fixing my sons sensors. Even the original appointment with the "sleep doctor" was AWFUL. She could not have care less about us being there (she stood 5 ft away from my son and shined a flashlight in his mouth to look at his tonsils...), and they literally don't even have a pediatric intake form, they ask you questions about "how is your sleep" and then say, just don't answer if it doesn't apply to your child (none it applied to my child... it was questions like do you have difficulty concentrating at work or driving...). Anyway, this place has a million horrible reviews, and looks like 1 or maybe 2 places in Nashville to have a sleep study done, but if you can avoid it, I would try.

I am not sure what can of sleep clinic this facility is operating.My child has been cancelled twice for a sleep study and it took forever to even schedule one. He showed up one night for a sleep study with no one available and no one has called us to cancel. They kept saying the technician has called out again and there is not a replacement. I could understand the first time, but It has been TWICE already. Very unprofessional for a place that is so call "sleep medicine." It is ashamed they are even located in Brentwood.

American sleep medicine is very unprofessional and I would not recommend for anyone to attend this facility. The staff is clueless and the manager Renée is a liar. My five year old son was scheduled for a sleep study this past Saturday. Upon arriving I was told that he was not on the list for tonight. I ask why no one had contact me about the changes. The staff was like idk. I also noticed that another lady was having the same issue. I ask to speak to with a manager. The staff member called the manger Renee and handed me the phone. Renee stated that an approval was not received and that her staff had contact all 10 people. I stated that I do not have a missed call nor a voicemail message from this Facility. Then I ask how many patients can get this test done at one time. She stated a total of 6 patients. So I took it that they had accidentally schedule to many people. But instead of Renee taking accountability for what has happened she said you two are the only ones that showed up after my staff called. So basically she is saying it’s our fault that we so happened to just show up. I thanked her for talking to me and gave the staff member back the phone. As we was about to leave out that’s when another patient with its parent walked in and was able go into back to get their sleep study performed. The other lady as well as myself looked at each other in shock. My thoughts of this experience is they have over scheduled to many patients. And they don’t want to take accountability and I am sensing some bias activity with this facility. I will never allow this facility to perform any type of sleep study on my son nor will we ever come here again. The worst experience ever???

I've never met with a provider who was so egregiously irresponsible and unprofessional in their assessment of my health.I got diagnosed with sleep apnea immediately after being asked questions about what I do for a living - simply by opening my mouth, and having it looked at with a flashlight.No tests, no studies (recommended, but not yet run) - just a flashlight and one incredibly uninspired/burned out "sleep specialist". I spent 30 minutes filling out paperwork, and the provider clearly did not review any of it for even a moment ahead of meeting with me. When I was asked questions (which had already been addressed in detail on the numerous forms), I was cut off prematurely nearly every time.I would highly recommend that you go elsewhere for your sleep study needs. I already have and couldn't be happier with my decision.

I had a very bad experience with this company. When visiting their office for the consultation I felt like I was a bother to them. I picked up the machine did the study.. 2WEEKS Later I was told "there was not enough data collected and the machines do this all the time" and I would likely have to do it again (in house). lastly, I had an emergency and couldn't return the machine on Tuesday (was coming in on Wednesday) and I was told "if I didn't come today there would be a 250 charge, bc they are short on machines" sounded like a threat and it was never mentioned prior to me picking up the machine. I would never do business here again or recommend this place for anyone.

Techs are great but billing is a mess. Paid copay for sleep study then they wanted another copay to finish what they started for mask fitting. A waste of time and money.

American Sleep Medicine in Brentwood is fantastic! The staff and sleep technicians made my experience a good one. I was worried about what to experience with my over night sleep study. Wes and Renee are highly focused on providing the best quality of care and are extremely easy to work with! The nigh techs have this process down to a science. Now I am sleeping better and love my C-pap machine. Thanks Brentwood American Sleep Medicine!

If I could give negative starts I would. The tech was HORRIBLE and not helpful. My young child removed their leads (while sleeping) and she informed me I would have to untangle all leads prior to her coming back in to but them on. They will lie to you and your insurance company and then foot you with a large bill. I wish I never would have stepped foot in this facility. Almost a year later and I am still dealing with this nightmare. Save your self and stick with a facility that is paired with a hospital.

I am beyond excited to let everyone know howLucky iam to meet a wonderful sleep doctor name Dr Hagaman, her staff members!I walked in Dr Hagaman office beyond nervous, not sure of how the outcome would be for me! I was told most of my life that my sleep issues were off due to me being bipolar, overweight ! That was not a answer I was going to take ! Front staff members were extremely friendly , funny ,no signs of being rude or to busy to assist me nor judge mental so that really made a big impression on me . Dr Hagaman came in my room with such a positive friendly personality I instantly got bright vibes from her there was no second guessing her profession!We had a great discussion how important sleep is, what it can effect she is Not the doctor who just wants your money she truly cares about her patient s! Nor does she just write any prescription like other doctors do So I completed what she recommended which was serval sleep studies results being I have sleep apnea we tried serval masks when I got frustrated trying all the mask in the world that was not made for me Dr H was Soo encouraging to me that I didn't not give up even though I felt that was the best answer at that time. I am glad that she was very patient with me , helped me find the perfect mask, She took her time reviewing the results of the sleep studies never did I feel rushed out the door or feel d*** for asking questions! She helped me understand what the results were , what was the next step from that moment on . Dr Hagaman,her staff will go beyond the stars to assist her patients! I am so blessed to call her my sleep doctor, if she don't know a answer to a question she definitely will find a answer I have alot of faith in her , her staff does a outstanding jobs from making appointments, checking in on us! Shout out to the sleep tech's are just as important as Dr Hagaman very friendly, professional,hard workers I have enjoyed meeting everyone and the over night staysWere great mini hotel stays no one bothered me,felt like we were at home! LoL I can honestly say I have Nothing negative to say bout this facility or the employees! I sleep better with my CPAP I feel very confident in my diagnosis from Dr Hagaman! I have a better life now thanks to Dr Hagaman ! Also Dr Hagaman sees my daughter as well which she is a minor we are fans of Dr Hagaman crew just love them all I would not hesitate to send anyone looking for a perfect sleep doctor to Dr Hagaman she don't tell you want to here she is very blunt , very educated, I will always remain to be one of her patient's . She is one doctor I look up to, have alot of respect for never had a issue with any employee in her office!Sincerely Ms Saylor

My 8 year old had a sleepbstudy at this location and I couldn't have asked for a better place. The facility was clean and quiet and overall very comfortable. Autumn was our sleep tech and she was outstanding! She made my daughter feel so at ease and took away any of her nervousness. The staff in general was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for your sleep study
