“While my experience with Bolivar Ford was exceptional, my experience with Ford Motor Co., was a different story.
After confirming the issue (with Bolivar Ford) was the cam phasers and the repair would cost nearly $6,000.00! I don't know about you but that is ALOT of money...money I didn't have. I began to do some research and to my dismay, I learned there was a recall for this WIDELY known problem, however, my VIN was not included in the recall. My truck has the EXACT engine that was listed in the recall...how could it not be included??? I contacted Ford Customer Service several times begging for assistance, but was denied, denied, denied. This seems
UN-American to the fullest.
The internet, Ford discussion platforms and youTube contains endless bountiful content on the issue. I am very disappointed in Ford, I have owned several in my life, but after this incident...knowing Ford does not have my back and they don't stand behind their product...this will be my last.

Thankfully, I was met with the most kind and gentle soul at Bolivar Ford; Service Representative Casey Collins. His vast knowledge of the service industry, excellent communication skills, customer service driven, respect and professionalism are what every employer dreams of and every customer hopes to encounter. This gentleman went above and beyond not only to ensure I had clarity on the situation but offered empathy and most of all kindness. I will (and have) most certainly return to this dealership for future needs. It is my hope and recommendation that Mr. Collins is rewarded for his commitment and dedication; he is a gem.”
