One of the most spectacular views I have seen. The better half is the wine drinker. She enjoyed what they have. I truly enjoyed the slushy. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

A true delightSignage made the location easy to find and the drive in was gorgeous. Service is delightful, and the hospitality is unmatched - it feels just like showing up at thanksgiving and meeting someone's new boyfriend/girlfriend for the first time. I felt welcome here and I left with friends. While the menu isn't extensive, everything I tried was good. These people have really taken the time to take a hobby into a way of life and it SHOWS. I'm taking home a bottle of Cabernet today that rivals even the 5 star vineyards on the west coast. A wonderful "mom and pop shop" that wasn't on my original itinerary is now the reason I'll be returning to Tennessee sooner rather than later. Definitely go, you won't be disappointed.

Come for the wine, stay for the views. The product is incredible, the views are breathtaking. Susan is fantastic behind the bar, and has plenty of knowledge about the process and the area. Highly recommend swinging by and making an afternoon out of stopping by!

I give this place 1 star for the sheer beauty of the venue space. However, I would never recommend this place to anyone, ever. They do not respect their customers, people who have paid them to use the space. They treat you like they are doing you a favor when you are paying to be there.They do not have a contract but did not like music that was played at our wedding reception and turned it off. Rude. When you rent your space to someone and do not have rules around an event then you have no right to shut down someone's event. The property was was drunk and rudely ended our event before we were suppose to end it.I'm absolutely appalled that they ruined a special moment for my sister. A once in a life moment that was ruined by these people.They should not be in the event business. It's super clear they are not hospitable, do not value their customers and do not want to be in the event business.Do not use this place for an event you will regret it and no one deserves to have their special event ruined by property owners.

Let's start with the good - amazing views and good wine.Now, the reason for the 1-star review. I recently attended a private reception at this venue. Throughout the event, I noticed a man lingering around the outskirts, watching the scene. At a point, I grabbed a cup of tea which ended up having a bug in it. So, not wanting the drink or to pour liquid in the trash, I moved to an unoccupied edge of the porch and discretely poured the tea into some bushes. At which point, that man quickly walked up to me, interrupting a conversation I was having, to say "we have sinks for a reason so how about you not pour your drinks on my bushes".Not wanting to match that level of rudeness, I simply said "ok". This person, who I assume was either an owner or just entitled, felt the need to interrupt a private event and condescendingly address me as if I'm a child. I'm 34. I apologize for not realizing sugar water would jeopardize your bushes or that you felt the need to personally police a private, formal event. Maybe try talking "to" people and not "at" them.So, go for the views, stay for the wine but be warned... you'll be surveyed with suspicion and spoken to like a child if you have the audacity to water some bushes.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Where do I begin…… my husband and I attended a reception for my bestfriend and her husband, and needless to say we will never be back. I have never been to a place of business and felt like I wasn’t welcome more than I did at Spout Springs. From the time I arrived- I was noticing the owner always lurking around the edges of the rented space keeping an eye on everything making it seem like we were a nuisance. While the night went on the owner joined in, as we brought karaoke to the reception and was also singing songs with some of the guests (uninvited). Being the easy going people we are, we let him join in on the fun not realizing how intoxicated he was. When the guests started singing a song he didn’t deem appropriate, he belligerently came up to the DJ and started touching his equipment trying to shut it off then got in the DJs face trying to start a fight. We shut everything down 3 hours short because at that point it was clear we were no longer welcome. To my understanding there was never a written or verbal agreement as to what we could or could not sing. Long story short- don’t allow events at your venue if you aren’t going to have a written contract stating what’s allowed and what’s not. Especially when it comes to something as little as music.

I would not recommend this winery as a venue space. The owner Chuck was intoxicated and tried to turn our music off by messing with the DJ’s equipment. We left three hours early because we felt unwelcomed. This was my wedding reception that was cut short due to his inability to separate personal opinions from business. He was also rude to my mother in law and other guests.

Beautiful venue space, wine was pretty good, but the owner was very rude. My mother hosted a reception for my husband and I who just got married and recently moved out of the state for his career with the Navy. This event was very special to us as we got to see family we haven't seen in months and some in years. During the entire planning process the owner was not very pleasant to work with and during the event he was just standing awkwardly watching us like a hawk. Our night got cut short because "his God did not approve of the music we were singing" during karaoke at the end of the night. There was no contract or verbal agreement on what music was allowed to be played. The song in question had bad words, but they were starred out, we were not singing them, and it was later in the night so we were not bothering anybody. I'm pretty sure he was also drunk which is highly unprofessional for a business owner during an event. The whole situation was disheartening. I'm glad we had a good party while it lasted but I do not recommend supporting judgmental, rude men who do not know how to separate personal options and beliefs from proper business behavior.
