Two attendants working on one passport appointment. I have been waiting on line for an hour and no one is being helped. We keep getting told to wait. They should inform the public they are closed and designate passport hours if they refuse to serve any other customers. I have never been blatantly ignored by an establishment that claims to be open.

Always a pleasant experience doing business here. Anyone I ever dealt with over the years has been friendly, helpful, and efficient. Just wish management always kept the counter fully (?) staffed with 2 employees. Busy place at times and having only 1 employee handling it all makes the waiting time too long.

I have been using this P.O. for 6 yrs. I'm the first person to tell you when a U.S.P.O. employee is rude, unprofessional or nasty (look at my review about the Hicksville P.O. on John St). NOT this location!!! Not only are the ladies nice but they like to joke around which is rare in this day and age. For the 2 yelpers with 1 star reviews of this P.O. you need to look in the mirror because it's YOU who are miserable and nasty. I'd bet money on that!!!

Avoid the USPS Old Bethpage mail facility like the plague!! Service is horrific, people are NASTY, and you are lucky if what you ship makes it to it's destination in ONE PIECE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!

For the past few years, after the wonderful employees I have known since 1989 one by one have moved on, there was maybe one nice friendly and helpful employee. Every time we go there now we are encountering unsmiling, unfriendly, unhelpful, lazy, bordering on rude, workers. Luckily there is another option in Plainview where you are welcomed by professional employees.

After living in multiple locations throughout Brooklyn, Queens, & Nassau my whole live (and selling things on eBay for the last decade), I can say that out of the 15 or so Post Offices that I have had to do business with, this one is by far the best. The reps are all great; personable, and helpful. I find their earlier opening time convenient for dropping off packages before work, since it is along my commute route. Another bonus, no bullet-proof glass when I'm talking to the postal workers! It's lovely! Sadly in our times, other post offices need that. And that makes me frown. It's a tiny office, but it's cozy, and not impersonal. There is abundant parking as well. If I ever move, I am still going to come to this location, hands down lol. TIP: Be careful in the parking lot, a lot of the rich, entitled people in the area tend to park crooked, or take up two spots. Whether it's intentional or just plain ignorance, I can't help but worry about my car being dinged by these local nutbags ;p Has nothing to do with the post office though!

Someone else wrote they would travel 10 miles to this office if they had to move and it's no longer their local post office. Well, yesterday I drove 25 miles and would do it again. BEST SERVICE EVER. The people who work here are so wonderful and helpful. I would much be to this neighborhood just for this post office!

An efficient post office and probably one of the best in the area. The workers are nice And efficient and it's relatively clean. The only issue is it's pretty tiny but that's to be expected.

This is my local Post Office although I would travel 10 miles to use this place. Quaint, small, and looks like it did 40 years ago. So why the high rating? The people! They are efficient, knowledgeable and fun. They banter with the customers and make mailing a pleasant experience.
