“I used to bowl for Bartlett high School and also joined in leagues here and other lanes all around Memphis and in Nashville. No matter what Chad knew how to help me get better by drilling and recommending balls that I would be able to use at the skill level I had at the time. I'm left handed and at first had no idea how to make it spin and all that and couldn't throw at 14+ pound ball yet. but the one he made me I still used to get the 7 pin cause it would go straight and never curve. Once I got to that level I got a good ball but he saw me bowling hours after a tournament game and he said your throw is perfect it's just the ball is bouncing off the pins not going threw them. It took me awhile to understand by that time I was a junior in high school and in adult leagues. I decided to not care and buy whatever would work best for me. Also all summer and all throughout that year I was working out and getting in shape and could throw a 15+ pound ball and adjust it to curve more or less and to travel 14mph up to 18mph. Also my ability to get spares if not a bad one was perfectly fine and I needed to get more pins to fly around. So I talked to him he knew me from tournaments for state and league stuff. He took around 2 or 3 hours and got me anywhere from 8-12 games to play free so he could adjust the ball perfectly. At first it wasn't breaking enough, then he had to adjust the thumb about 4 times cause it would either cut into my thumb, get stuck, slide out to easily, or not be able to control it cause I liked to have the option to throw in more inside and it break at the end or throw it almost in the gutter and it break hard into the pins depending on the oil that was being used. By the time he was done I started my junior and senior year in high school we won district, regionals finally, got to state couldn't win cause the state champions were put against us and for some reason we were ranked last which was like the 8th seed. And we lost by 1 point... Also had 3 people go as individual state champion contenders. I was in the top 9 for most of the season my senior year, we were bowling so often my arm was hurting and my leg but a huge tournament invotational we got invited to, got someone to go to Bartlett just to bowl with us he was a freshman who could bowl 280 or better or bowl 130-150. Over time we helped he get more consistent but there was now 4 left handed people that started out of 6 on our team. In group A was me, a right handed bowler who was really awesome and i always told them put whoever needs the oil to be right that is left handed on my side I can change up how I throw easily. Also I very rarely ever threw so much spin it messed with the oil. So they did and the ball Chad made for me could be thrown however and I had my best 3 games ever it made me ranked 6th in individual ranking in the state. I eventually lost my state ranking to my friend on my own team but anyway the ball Chad made me I used and I for some reason after my arm was extremely sore and I needed to pick up the speed I kept getting strikes from over throwing it and hitting the 1 and 3 pin instead of 1 and 2 cause I'm left handed. I was getting pins to fly across the lane. I bowled 274, got my confidence up and got 298, and 297. It was awesome and I'm happy to say my senior year and my leagues last years I averaged 216+ with 19 290+ games. Never got 300 but because of Chad knowing from watching me what I needed at each stage of me learning was amazing. I always thanked him and always would go to other places in bowling alleys to see their people that drilled the balls and they never at all were close to Chad. The guy in Nashville I saw said if I'm from Memphis I need to see Chad and then he saw my ball and he even realized I got it drilled by Chad. He mentioned how tedious it would be to make it that perfect for the style in which I threw the ball and to fit my hand correctly. Even my ball to get spares that was meant to be thrown straight was perfect for beginning and one for spinning at the last second. ”

“My sons have been shopping at TNC for so many years. This was always their first choice of where to spend their allowance dollars as little guys... now they have jobs and make their own money and still spend it at TNC. ;)We love their selection of sports cards and team apparel. We're also very thankful for TNC's support of our community groups, like the Bartlett HS Band, to which they've recently generously donated items for a silent auction fundraiser event. We're happy to continue supporting local business while shopping at TNC!”
