We highly recommend Maclin Security Doors, Inc. to everyone we know. Four years ago we purchased doors for our prior home from Maclin. When it came time to purchase doors for our new home we did not hesitate to go back to Maclin! Jason and his family are true professionals and care about their customers. He took time to help me come up with the perfect door design that fits our home best.We also purchased a screened in porch. Our builder was charging way more than what Maclin did and the builder's quality was was less then what Maclin's is!! Our installer Danny is the best around! His work is amazing and so is he! Very professional and kind. He pays attention to every detail and our porch looks beautiful!Maclin's quality is way above anywhere else in our market. Plus, we love supporting local family owned businesses over the big box stores. The quality, pricing, customer service and whole experience with the Maclin's has been exceptional!

We had Maclin install a screened in porch system and roof extension for about 10k. The system looks ok from the ground but we have had multiple leaks with the roof system and we had to call in our own gutter company and roofer to finish the job. Personally I would look elsewhere for a screened in porch.

I have now purchased two security doors from Maclin. The first was great. The second was installed in April of 2023.December of 2023 - the door becomes increasingly difficult to open. The knob would turn, but the door would not open. On Friday, December 8th, the door had to be forced open. I reached out to Maclin to determine when it could be repaired, because I would have to leave the SECURITY door propped open. As a single woman, I felt very uncomfortable with this. Maclin's response, "Well, if it is a user error we will charge you for the visit." No empathy or even sense of wanting to help, just questioning my ability to open a door. I was told they would do nothing that day, but William would reach out "sometime next week".Monday evening the door slams and will no longer open, at all. I have received any messages from Maclin. I call and leave a voicemail. I receive a call back Tuesday morning. I was once again told that, "if there was a user error, I would be charged." I was also asked why I didn't call William. I WAS NOT told to do so and I did not have his number. I called William, who explained that he had called me, but he did not leave a message because "he doesn't have time for that" and "expects people to answer their phone, even if they do not recognize the number." I did go back and looked for the time he called I was not able to answer because I was in a work meeting. William also did not seemed concerned that my door would not open at all and told me he could not get to it until Thursday. At this point, I started trying to find an alternate repair person. I was able to do so and it happened to be someone that occasionally installs for Maclin. The door had to be REMOVED FROM THE HINGES to be repaired. The door would not open because it was installed incorrectly.Now, here we are in February and I am once again searching for a repair person. This time is isn't the knob. Now the deadbolt will not unlatch, so the door will not open. I don't want to even bother calling Maclin because customer service is not a concern of theirs. My interaction with William was so poor that I do not want him at my home.I absolutely hate that I will have to spend more money on a security door that is less than a year old, but I have no faith in Maclin taking any responsibility for anything on their end. Also, my "security" door is now a security concern. It either will not open, or has to left unlocked.Please see photo of the fist problem. Or, as they refer to it, "potentially a user error."UPDATE - in response to Maclin’s reply. Mr. Lopez sending someone to fix to the door and not charging has ZERO to do with your business. You did not recommend him. I did that independently and you have zero right to take responsibility for him being helpful.As I was the witness when the door was taken off the hinges so it could be fixed, you are WRONG! Also, it had nothing to do with the lock. The lock was working fine.This businesses responses to negative reviews - not taking responsibility for ANYTHING really speaks for itself.

I went here and just needed a few parts for my security door. The person that helped me was very friendly and took his time explaining and answering all my questions. I will definitely use them if I need security doors in the future!

We had our front door replaced with double iron entry doors. Maclin was excellent with communication from the beginning with Jason to Jeremy down in Ashland, MS & the day of installation. I highly recommend Maclin Security Doors. My new doors are beautifully made! I get so many compliments on them! The craftsmanship of the doors is top notch. Give them a call!

Maclin Security Doors is installing a screen room at my house. They started on 03/18/2023 and said the work would be completed by 03/22/2023. The installer arrived at 11:30 and left at 3;30 pm. The installer returned on 03/22/2023 at 5:30 pm and left at 8:30pm. The installer returned at 7 pm on 03/23/2023 and worked until 11 pm. It is now Saturday 03/25/2023 1 pm and no one has showed up yet. So now we are 8 days into a job that was supposed to take 4 days. The service received from Maclin is totally unacceptable. Update !!! Mr Maclin called my wife Saturday morning after we filed a complaint with the BBB and was very Disrespectful and yelled and hollered at her Mr Maclin was advised of the panel being the wrong color at noon on Monday and said no problem my guys will pick one up at the warehouse and be there this afternoon ( no one came Monday). Mr Maclin you need to call my wife and apologize to her for all the screaming and hollering you did and quit trying to blame her for you not doing your job.Update Maclin finished on 03/27/2023 I was thinking Jason Maclin would have apologized to my wife for the disrespectful way he yelled at her. He was very unprofessional. If you want someone who will disrespect you then use Maclin. It takes a big man to yell at a woman

I love being outside but in the in warm weather the bugs were kind of bad so I started searching for screen rooms to really enjoy the outdoors. I came across Maclin Security Doors and called for a quote. ***** came out and the rest is history. I really really really love my screen room. I go out most of the day to sit outside and watch tv, but I can't wait until it gets warm to spend all of my day in it!!! If you are looking for an enclosure to enjoy the summer breeze without the bugs, I Highly recommend this company to do the job for you. Great customer service. I emailed ***** a couple of times and he got back to me the next day. I will definitely do business with them again!!

I remembered this company from a passing commercial on the news. It is a family owned business, and all of their doors are custom made. There is a viewing area to get a look and feel of a variety of doors. The representative we spoke to was very nice and explained the selection, delivery, and setup process. I like that you are able to get a visual and a feel, and they also have literature to take home to go into detail about additional designs, colors, sizes, glass choices, and how the process works. You can tell from the look and especially the feel that these are VERY sturdy and stylish doors.

Our first experience with Maclin was May 4, 2019 when we had the Victorian storm door installed. It added to the beauty of our home and we are still pleased. We decided to use them again to installed our two car carport cover. Chad and Mike were our installers and very professional. They made sure that we were happy with the job. I enjoyed having them at our house. Thank you guys very much. Our installation was completed December 19, 2022 just in time for the first round of winter weather. My husband and I admire the beauty and value that it has added to our home. It is the best investment that we made in 2022. Thank you Jason for your time and professionalism. You guys are appreciated.

We were in search of double security doors with a custom fit. To be honest, I had read a few negative reviews about Maclin that left me unsure, but they truly did everything very well. They came out, measured, delivered, and installed the doors within 3 weeks, which is quicker than anticipated. They doors look way better than we expected security doors to look, and they have also helped with insulating the house. They were expensive, but quality products are going to cost money, and the sense of security they have given us has been worth the money. Great experience overall.

Had my third security door installed yesterday by Maclin Security Doors the other 2 were installed 4 and 7 years ago. Maclin continues to have a very high level of service and quality. Their installer William is very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to have around installing the door, I don’t know if William is their only installer, since he installed all 3 of my security doors, ask for William after you order you door from Maclin

Selection was good but customer service was short and semi attentive. The female sales was polite amd answered questions when asked. The fellow male co-worker was a bump on the long, never addressed or acknowledged us as he was the 1st person we saw as he sat at the front desk. Sales need a pep talk or more coffee
