Laurel James, originally from Meridian, MS, and moved to Bartlett, TN at the age of fourteen. Since then she has been an active part of her community, studying cosmetology for four years at Bartlett High School and graduating from the acclaimed Plaza Beauty School in 2001. In 2006 she opened her own business, Laurel James Hair Elements. Laurel’s desire to be a hair stylist ignited when she was a little girl and has been a motivating force into what Laurel sees as a God-given, God-driven calling to use her talents, passion and creativity to take care of her customers inside and out and to be an active, generous, vital part of the Bartlett community.
