This has to be the worst run mobile I have been to. The is always problems with the pumps like the card readers. If you use you EM rewards card you dont get your discount and the staff has no clue what to do. But this is nothi g new with this station.

I have been charged for gas that I did not receive due to a cashiers mistake, and the managers are refusing to speak and work with me to mend the issue.I stopped at Mobil gas station at the Athens and Decatur Exit 49 off I-75 to get gas, a couple of drinks, and a couple of lottery tickets. While I’m waiting in line, I hear one female cashier say to a male cashier that she smelt alcohol on his breath (one worker saying to another that they smelt alcohol on them). I end up in the male cashier’s line. I set my two drinks on the counter, ask for $30 in gas on pump 5, and two #8 lottery tickets, and I ask to pay with $10 in cash and the rest on my card (plenty of cash to pay for my lottery tickets). The cashier acts confused and says we have to do it as another transaction unless I have the full total in cash. I have gone to other gas stations with similar purchases and not had to do it this way, but whatever. We do two separate transactions and I go outside to pump my gas, however, it isn’t working. I go back inside to tell them this, and they say that I must have hung the hose up and the money automatically put back on my card (so they were going to insist I had my money back and charge me again before confirming what had happened). I was very skeptical of this and told them that I do not think that that’s what happened, because I didn’t hang the hose up at all. Finally, they realize that the gas was sent to pump 3 and not 5. So I move my car over and try again. I go back inside and tell them it is not working, and they say that someone else must’ve taken my gas. I ask for a refund or the gas I paid for, and they get very defensive and begin to claim that I said pump 3 and not 5. I try to speak to the female cashier instead of the male that had messed up my transaction, and the male cashier keeps interrupting me and raising his voice. I ask to speak to a manager, but there is no manager that day and they would not allow me to speak to them on the phone. They said that I should come back tomorrow, but I am 55 miles away from home at this point. Finally I ask that they cal the cops, because I wanted someone else involved besides these two workers that were refusing to acknowledge that their cashier made a mistake and put my money on the wrong pump and have costed me $30.I speak with the cops. The assistant manager shows up while I am speaking with the cops, and he immediately sides with his cashier claiming that I must’ve said the wrong pump, and the assistant manager does not speak to me or ask my side. He gets my number from the cops and says the other manager will call me the next day. I still have not heard from the manager or received my money back. I can’t believe that my money was taken by another customer, and Mobil is not even considering that that happened by a mistake of their cashier, and management is making no attempt to speak to me or try to resolve this issue. Worst experience I’ve ever had with any company and customer service, and all I was trying to do was get some gasoline.

I merely stopped for gasoline during a long drive for a visit to a daughter and friends in Atlanta. It was a convenient place.
