This is probably the best DG in the Athens area! Of course, it is also one of the newest. It is bigger than most and is also stocked better. I've always had friendly service here. It's not close to where we live (our go-to store is near Riceville) but sometimes when I take our trash to the McMinn County Landfill I will stop by here to pick up a couple of things. DG has become the "store on the fringes" meaning that they are mostly located on the edge of towns and are targeting people who don't want to go all the way into town just to pick up a couple of staples. Evidently, they are finding plenty of success doing so as they are multiplying like weeds. I find them to be very handy!

I'd give this less than one star because the dang store simply does not exist at all! Don't know how y'all give it a 5 star and posted pictures. I mean, it looks clean and nice from the photos. Maybe that mound of dirt on the south side of 30 hwy is a DG egg waiting to hatch?
