On my way to volunteer at Cheatham County Animal Control, I've passed this market a hundred times and never realized they sell food. Like cooked meals and pies and stuff. I just thought it was an old hardware store with a couple of gas pumps. That is until I brought my neighbors' daughter with me to walk dogs and as we passed by, she told me her dad would call them while on their boat and order the whole family's lunch and ride up and pick it up. So I told her that on our way back home, we would stop. I'd always thought they had a bunch of cars pulling in and out. Now I've become one of those many cars because there really isn't anywhere close by that you can grab a burger and fries unless you go into town. And they do a good job, it was very tasty. Now I don't think they are fresh hand made patties, but I don't care. I haven't tried any of their daily lunch specials yet. But they do have a nice variety of country style cooking. The day I brought my neighbors kid with me, we sat in the dining area. Yes, they have a small section set up with tables and while they all aren't matching, it's cozy and clean. I have their phone number in my contacts so I can call them to have my order ready for pick up. Just so you know, that pecan pie they have was so good! I must get another slice so I'll quit thinking about it! And the sweet tea was just the way I like it, not too sweet but sweet enough. I paid less than $13 for a cheeseburger, fries, sweet tea, and a slice of pecan pie. If you ride by this place and haven't stopped yet, I highly recommend that you go. Soon!

Ok this place is off the beaten track and honestly looks a little sketch from the outside. When you go in there is fishing bait, a key copying machine and other relics that make you feel like you might have stepped back in time. However! Their pit smoked BBQ (only available on Saturday and Sunday) is to die for!!! Well worth the trip out of your way.

I moved here almost 4 years ago, and they treat me as though I’ve lived here my entire life. Always helpful, great food, and all around kindness from the patrons as well as the staff. It feels like home when you walk in!
