Have been using this office for 10+ years because I trust them! My wife and I drive 32 miles, one way, just so we can have John Bailey handle our tax concerns. The peace of mind knowing everything has been done correctly and stress-free is worth the trip.

My tax "expert", was anything but an expert. She was obviously new and not ready to be on her own. What should have been a 30 minute process to complete my taxes literally took 3 hours. I had to correct the employee multiple times because she was typing in wrong information. The manager had to intervene and I could tell she was frustrated with this employee, but really she should not have allowed this employee to continue wasting my time. The manager offered me a coupon for the frustration, but it took over 30 minutes for them to get it to go through. I will never go back to this location, and honestly, I may never go back to any H&R Block after this experience.

WHY would any tax analyst recommend that your husband file married, but separate without inquiring about wholistic financial situation to see if that even makes sense?!?! We just got married last May, but certainly could have and SHOULD HAVE filed jointly. Thanks to H&R Block we are out the $214 my husband paid for his tax return + another near $3000 since I do not qualify for the tax deductions I would otherwise be eligible for if we filed jointly on $10k+ paid for graduate school tuition and $10k on mortgage interest. Since my tax forms weren't provided, I'm sure the "Maximum Refund" "Guarantee" won't be honored. Most of you probably don't even need what these people are selling you! I feel bad for how much money people pay these "tax experts". You could read the instructions and do this on your own. We will definitely never use H&R Block ever again.
