Go in to Caesars. Ask if they have any off the beaten path or otherwise novel/unheard of scotch. Glenlivet and Glenfiddich are recommended to me.
Okay. As someone who finds scotch deplorable, I still know the names. Also, learn how to pronounce Glenfiddich. And maybe don't suggest it to someone when he asks you if you have something a little less common.
It gets better. Or worse, depending on which side of the counter you stand. An Irish whiskey is then pushed on me. Sure, it's a single malt and made like scotch. But I'm not calling Japanese whisky Scotch, either, regardless of how it's made. Cause, ya know, last I checked, Scotland isn't Ireland. Geography.
This was impressive. Either you don't have discerning employees or you just don't care. Do better.
