I ended up here after an Uber fail. I was dropped off by an Uber & expecting pick up from another Uber that did not show. A female alone about an hour & a half from home, I was a little scared to say the least. An employee by the name of Dane was a life safer! He made me feel so comfortable, kept me company, all while attending to his other customers & duties. I am so grateful that this was my experience!! Everyone who ever experiences my journey should be lucky enough to have a Dane in their path!! Thank you so much and may you be blessed friend!! ?

Staff is nice and friendly, bathrooms are ok. Showers are small and a bit outdated but only 7$ kitchen opens at 5am but closes at 1pm. Do not use the coin pusher machine. You only get some of the coins that fall, the rest you can hear fall into a box underneath, kind of a scam. Good amount of truck parking in the back.

Nice enough staff however the showers leave a lot to be desired. Shower 3 had lots of spiders in residence and when you turn the knobs for shower the entire plumbing for shower moves with it. Floors were just gross and suspect around toilets hasn't been washed in months. Water started warm, went to scalding, then ice cold, then back to scalding. Suspect that all plumbing in building from rest rooms to resturant to washers to showers all share same plumbing. Did get towel, wash cloth and paper floor mat. Showers $7.00
Resturant is OK. Had big breakfast and burger with tots. Waitress very attentive but hours are only 5am-1pm and menus online e are not accurate. One 2 sided page and heard waitress tell cook how to make the BLT and there is only one menu so he should know. Food comparable to what you make at home or less but prices cheap.

A great place to stop. There is a cafe inside also. So, the food is fresh and is good quality. I got half rack of ribs, and was amazed how good they were.Well designed parking area. And diesel prices are great.All in all, my go to stop right after the weigh station.EDIT: Great beer selection

Shady Lawn Truck Stop restaurant has always been a great place in our community to grab a homemade meat and three… under new management, the meals are palatable, at best. Service is still great, but we can crack open a can of vegetables and thaw out a frozen pie at home for a lot less. Hopefully, this is just transitory and the new management will bring back quality food, soon.

Terrible service been a long time resident near here can never get them to answer the phone for food or shoot can never get them to answer the phone e at all hope everyone Workin there is looking for a new job cause the tennassian will put them out of business terrible customer service

Our waitress was horrible rude. The grill closed at 10:30 a.m. it was about 10, and people were coming in, and every time she would start slamming thing and making it more than obvious she was not happy to serve. We will not be back.
